This restaurant is now under new ownership, and I will say from the service to the food...it is all terrible. We ordered on a Friday night expecting it to be busy. We were told on the phone at it would be 40-45 mins which was fine. We showed up to pick up our order at the designated time and IT HADN'T EVEN BEEN MADE YET. We stood around for another 20 mins before even being acknowledged. The order ahead of us the restaurant had apparently lost and they were scrambling to get it made. In total from the time ordering to the time we actually got our "food" we ended up waiting over an hour. Also multiple times one of the kitchen staff would come out and harrass the poor girl taking orders right in front of paying customers! Very unprofessional. Now for the food......I've never had such greasy flavorless food. The chicken fried rice had this awful artificial taste to it. It didn't even taste like chicken(probably wasn't). The only thing that was tolerable was the fortune cookie but that was because it's pre-packaged. Overall our experience was a disaster. If you want decent Chinese food, go anywhere but here. I think the new name is Golden...
Read moreWe used to go to this place when it was under the previous ownership and it was fabulous. Had hoped the quality of food would have continued, unfortunately that is not the case. We ordered the Cantonese Chow Mien a dish i have enjoyed for a long time, and i have never had it like it was done today. The shrimps still had the tails on, the noodles were hard and crunchy and uncooked on the top, and i believe there was zucchini? in the dish. Normally there is Bak choy in this dish. The chicken thorough out the whole order looked like it was shredded or something like that. I also ordered a combination plate with the chicken balls, and was shorted one, and of the other 3, 2 were partially uncooked in the middle and had to be turfed. The best part of this meal was the chicken fried rice. This is not my first time ordering from this location, have tried it about 6 times since they opened, but it...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst wonton soup weâve ever had in our lives. Get some from Country Fresh in Niagara Falls and take notes please. Iâm telling you your sales would skyrocket. There is no excellent soup in this area at all. Our entire family loves wonton soup and myself my boyfriend and our daughters all spit it out after biting into the filling. The broth was better than the wontons. We ate the broth and the crunchy soup noodles. Wasted 3 entire containers worth of wonton noodles. The chicken fried rice was good, but the chicken balls have so much breading on them theyâre not enjoyable to eat. We probably wonât come again as this was supposed to be a good first meal in a our new home weâre currently moving into in ingersoll (we took a break after moving some things and got dinner) and we live 4 mins away from the restaurant. Itâs a shame because we would have been...
