First time visiting. Friendly greeting and told to pick a seat. We were waiting on 1 more person so let the server know. She gave us menus while we waited. They have all day breakfast, as well as specials. My mom got 1 egg, bacon and instead of potatoes she was able to have there soup of the day, homemade beef cabbage. I also got a soup to start it was a rich tomato flavor, had a touch of sweetness and was loaded with beef, cabbage and other vegetables. She got a perfectly cooked egg and 3 large pieces of bacon as well as toast that looked like a loaf of bakery bread. I got the breakfast special 2 eggs, choice of bacon, ham or sausage, but I upgraded to back bacon for an extra charge. I also got a choice of toast either white, brown, rye or sourdough so this was great as I love sourdough. Again it looked like a bakery loaf not store bought. Also had a choice of potato you could get fried potatoes or hash brown casserole. I haven't seen this before so I had to get it as it's 1 of my favorites, I wasn't disappointed at all in this it was full of flavour and such a treat. My eggs were cook as I asked, I'm a fussy egg eater and they got them right. My husband ordered the triple decker, it had egg, back bacon and regular bacon. Also topped with lettuce and tomato. He was asked what kind of bread and if he wanted mayo or mustard. He also got the hash brown casserole. The sandwich was huge 3 layers and fully loaded. He said it was delicious and he loved the casserole. My mom and I decided to share a strawberry milkshake, we each ended up with our own glass topped with whipped cream. It was rich, thick and tasted like fresh strawberries. They make them fresh to order. Our server was super friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and...

No, Hello how's your day, or welcome come in. Just ordered to sit at a table rudely. Vary short answers that made my spouse feel unwelcomed & walks away before your done speaking.
After our food showed up, having ordered hash browns; and seeing beautiful golden brown ones on another table. We were confused.
The Hash browns we were brought were soggy mushed up and absolutely gross. Absolutely 100% gross.
Apparently we wanted there "home fries" and we're expected to know the difference even though the server took no effort to inform us the difference; because she was walking away while I tried to complete my sentences.
When I told her that this was not what I wanted, these hash browns are not hash browns, but soggy & muchie pile of potatoe
When she sent them back, Yelling to the cook about how we didn't like them, the cooked replied how we must be charged for the "side of home fries" and their conversation about how we didn't like the hash browns continued. While my spouse & I sat 2 meters away feeling vary awkward.
Honestly, extremely...
Read moreWhat a great restaurant! I just got home from a three-day reunion in Ingersoll with my 3 best childhood friends ("Sunshine"). We chose the Miss Ingersoll for breakfast the first morning of our trip, and it became the go-to breakfast spot each of the other two days! No, it's not fancy, so don't go there for that, but the friendliness and efficiency of the staff gives this little restaurant just what it takes to keep people coming back for more. The food all three mornings was absolutely delicious, and served up impossibly fast and piping hot! The menu is extensive too. In my experience, they use no "deli" meats - my Classic Clubhouse had fresh chunks of turkey and bacon in it, and my Eggs Benedict had nice thick slabs of roast ham! We had the pleasure of being taken care of by sweet Hillary, and you can tell she cares deeply about her customers' satisfaction, which can be hard to find these days. Thank you Hillary and staff for filling our tummies with goodness! Now I want to go back to Ingersoll just to eat at...
