A very cozy place for large families and friends to dine in or take out. Parking Space is not an issue at all there’s enough space for that! There’s just enough space both inside the hall and outside with a marvelous view of the lake on the deck! It could really get busy that you’d have to be in a queue for 30 minutes!thats due to their teeny tiny little kitchen as mentioned by them!I would say the wait time is worth it! The service is usually top notch! Workers at the restaurant are very busy, faster than most places and with their smiley and happy faces wiling to take care of your orders! The food here is very affordable! Don’t forget to have fun and take photos!🫶 The KINSMEN BEACH & PARK This place is beautiful, it’s located in Invermere this park is called Windermere lake provincial lake in Athalmer, British Columbia. This is a great place for hiking, bird- watching, photographing and just enjoying the tranquility and breathtaking scenery. I read from research that Windermere Lake provincial park protects one of the last remaining tracts of native grassland and riparian (waterside) habitats along the shores of lake Windermere, it also provides lots of opportunities wildlife viewing.

There is so much potential with the location and decor, unfortunately that effort was not translated into the food. In my opinion, they went a little bit too heavy on the fish sauce in the pad thai. The grilled lamb chops were incredibly dry and we couldn't finish the order. The meat also tasted old and gamey. This is just our opinion and may not reflect every time that dish is ordered, but I think it's important to share our experience in case someone is expecting higher quality food. If you're in the mood for some typical pub food, this might be okay. However, I couldn't finish the burger - it was too well done and dry. The ketchup was not Heinz, it felt like a cheaper offshoot brand. We also couldn't stomach the tofu in the pad thai, had a really bad taste to it, again in our opinion. We rationalize the stay by the incredible view, but it seems like this pub is experiencing staffing shortages like everywhere else in the region so we've got to give it to them for at least being open. If you're also worried about them following covid protocols, they did not check our entire party for vaccine status like their posters state they should. Visit was in late September 2021.

This pub was a short walk from our hotel in Invermere which was a good job as we soon discovered our sons were not allowed in the Best Western hotel bar due to being under 19. The pub itself is modern with a good choice of drinks, including a nice selection of beer. The food choice is fairly standard ‘pub grub’ but offers good value for money and all presented nicely. We went to the pub on a couple of occasions. There was a slight wait for food service the second time but this was explained upfront and, being on holiday, we weren’t in any hurry! Being Brits, we tend to tip by leaving cash after the bill has been settled. This was the only awkward part of one of our visits as the waitress explained to us about tipping as we had just settled the bill with a card payment. We explained our ‘cash policy’ due to the way some restaurants operated in the UK. Everyone learned something! :-) This is a nice pub/diner with an outside balcony overlooking Lake Windermere and would certainly recommend for anyone wishing to eat/drink in a relaxed environment.

We were a group of four senior ladies. We wanted to sit on the patio but no tables were available. So two of us took a table inside and were waiting for the other two ladies to join us. A table on the patio came available while we were waiting so one of the waiters helped us move our drinks. Just as we were setting our drinks down, a table with a better view of the lake also came available. I indicated we'd like that table and the waiter who helped us out to the patio was going to oblige. We hadn't sat down yet so truly it wasnt a big deal. But another waiter said we couldnt move to it because it was for six people. So we stayed at the smaller table. Moments later a party of four were seated there. I waited to see if more people were going to join them but that wasn't the case. So I went in to talk to the manager. He first said we were jumping from table to table. I pointed out that wasn't the case as we hadn't even sat down at the first table. He kept talking above me. He was condescending and seemed uninterested in what I had to say. All he seemed interested in was being right. I went back out to the table. A while later he came out and started talking at me again. I thought perhaps he was going to apologize and really that's all I was hoping for. 'Sorry, we made a mistake' goes a long way, but it was more of the same and worse! He was lecturing me on how its their business and they decide what is fair. Three times he came up with something new as to why we didnt get the table. After all the mansplaining I didnt feel like giving them anymore of my money so we left. It felt like being harassed and it also felt like we just...

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Honestly was really looking forward to coming here tonight with my family… but it was very disappointing. I came in with my two young kids and had asked multiple people and multiple times for a high chair…. Not one person brought us one until our food had arrived more than 30 minutes later. They also didn’t even bother to bring my kids crayons or colouring (Yes, this is important). Our drinks also arrived right before our food…. Usually drinks come first and should be brought to a table within 10 minutes of ordering. After waiting what seemed like forever my husbands and my food arrived before our kids food was ready which made no sense and just made my hungry kids even more upset. While ordering i specifically asked the server what ingredients they put in their house salad to which she responded “it’s just a regular salad with lettuce and vinaigrette dressing” so of course when they brought it to me with goat cheese which I am super allergic to I asked her to bring me a different salad without goat cheese. She brought me out a Caesar salad shorty after. When our bill came, not only did the waitress charge me for another salad (I sent the first one back), she also charged for my kids two drinks which were supposed to be included with their kids meal. She did remove the additional charges when I complained but why should it even have to come to this. Had the service been better I would’ve given this place 4 stars because the food and the...

Where do I even start… these good reviews have got to be fake. We were asked for our IDs then the lady walked away without checking them, another girl asked if someone had talked to us then walked away again. Finally they checked our IDs and the staff was very rude to my girlfriend (who is of age) and wouldn’t stop bugging her about it. We sat down with waters. Our water had an ant in it. Food came fast but was subpar at best, could have made a better burger at home. Drinks were HORRENDOUS they were rude to my girlfriend again when asking for her ID, I get identification is important but it was ridiculous, this has never been an issue anywhere ever. One of our drinks was a grapefruit margarita but tasted like straight tequila. My beer had a massive clump of mouldy film in it, I was able to pull it out in one piece using a toothpick, it was about an inch long. I’m guessing it was from the tap not being cleaned. This resulted in my girlfriend almost vomiting and having to leave.

Staff was so unprofessional and bar tenders were yelling at one and other not in a fun work way but in an angry way that makes things awkward. We asked for napkins and the lady simply threw them on our table as she walked by without saying anything.

Overall staff seemed extremely unprofessional and untrained. This place needs a health inspection along with an experienced supervisor...
