I had seen the new location on global news and wanted to try it out. It started with the drinks, we had 3 Ceasars and a Sangrita they were quite good until one person in our group took a drink and there was a pice of glass in the drink. It was about 8mm and had a very sharp corner on it if she would have swallowed it ,there would have been some serious damage done to her for sure. The manager came over and she said I will comp the drink you ordered and the one we replaced it with. Next the noise in the restraunt this night was so loud the server had to keep moving closer and closer so she could be heard and she could hear us, by the way she was great. The food was mediocre and not worth the price, the brisket sandwich was dry and over salted and the calamari was over breaded and over seasoned and over cooked. The steaks were all right, if you are ordering desert the only thing worth ordering is the mango sorbet as we tried the cheesecake and the sticky pudding not worth the price. In closing if I owned the restraunt and one of my customers nearly swallowed a piece of glass i would definitely be comping there meal, and probably the table for the night. Also our server was great and she was very embarrassed on the events that had happened that evening. As a group we will not ever be returning. And one more thing when a car dealership go's into the super market and restaurant business you would think customer service would be better. Go Auto...
Read moreIncredible experience at Pyro 142 st. Went with a group of girlfriends and it did not disappoint. The drinks were all delicious (Cucumber Inferno was a hit, sparkling ember was so delicious, and the Pyro Punch packs a huge wallop…there’s a lot of rum in there!)
The salt and pepper chicken wings were the tastiest I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside with juicy chicken in the middle. Chicken and shrimp skewers were added to the beet salad for some protein and were delicious. The hot honey pizza was the best I’ve had in the city. Crisp and fluffy crust with the perfect balance of cheese and spice. The avocado corn dip blew our minds (so many flavors blending together), and the tuna stack was so tasty.
Our server Brynn was excellent. Fantastic service, knowledgable about the menu, present at all the right times, and had great menu recommendations.
I loved it so much I booked their private dining room for a work function in a few weeks. Can’t wait to share this gem with others. Thanks for an...
Read moreSorry Guys. I was really hopeful that the overpriced all flare and no substance ex-Rebel restaurant was going to be a better experience but you came up short. I had the torched (blackened) chicken sandwich. It was not edible - like instantly eating a table spoon of salt. The meat was grey and stringy. Another person at my table had the sante fe chicken salad with the same kind of chicken and similar negative comments there. The chicken was awful. The 3rd person had the brisket and she said it was ok. The corn avocado dip was very good! The drinks were very good as was the service. The waitress took the 2 dinners off the bill but i just would rather have had an enjoyable meal and paid full price. The chicken just turned me off so much that I will not be going back at least in the short term - maybe they might get it right in time. Test the food out before...
