COBS Bread — Restaurant in Kamloops

We came in 5 minutes before closing. We called in couple minutes prior to coming to check if the buns were fresh and still available. The guys said yes. We reach at 6:55 and they have everything away to the donation people. What’s left was only stale buns. They sold it to us. We questioned it that they are hard and they said yeah they were sitting out all day. I go back in to return. I entered the shop at 6:59 and asked them for a refund. The clocks turned to 7:00 pm and they said sorry the till is closed. Terrible service. Why would you allow donation people to pick up everything from your shop while it’s still open for people who want to buy? You should allow donation people only after your shop is closed. We weren’t given the priority, instead the donation was a priority. Maybe it’s time to switch your business to charity? You closed the till before closing time and denied us a refund.

I do understand we were late but the shop was still open. This is worst service I have received in a while.

I would like to raise this concern with Cobs...

Since one moment in the past, I have felt their loaves of multi grain bread are burned all the time. My husband told them that they were burnt badly, we couldn't eat them(we bought 4 loaves at once last time). The employee didn't apologize and didn't even try to make it up or anything. She acted like whatever. Bad service. But we hoped they fixed the problem like fixing their oven or baking for less minutes or controlling the temperature better or something else as we let them know. But it still has the same issue so we no longer will buy at...

Terrible customer service from the the young ladies working at the Kamloops location on May 22nd. They all seemed to have an attitude from the minute you walk in the door.

In addition, we ordered a few pastries which we realized after we left was not the ones we asked for. Maybe if these employees spent a little more time listening to what the customer wanted and had a little less attitude they could have gotten our order correct.
