My recent visit to Dhaliwals was disheartening as a customer. I used to enjoy their Indian food and considered them one of my favorite places to dine. However, on this occasion, the food quality was far from satisfactory.
The most disappointing part was when I ordered a burger, but the patty turned out to be made of oil-filled, half-cooked pakora. It was unappetizing and lacked the taste and texture I expected from a burger patty. Additionally, the fries were burnt chip sticks instead of the crispy ones I was hoping for.
To add to my disappointment, the 'papdi chaat' I ordered had samosa flour skin instead of the authentic 'papdi,' which affected the overall taste of the dish.
Lastly, the mango lassi, which I usually find refreshing and delicious, felt like water mixed with mangoes. It didn't have the rich and creamy texture I had come to expect.
Overall, this experience has left me with a lasting negative impression, and I have decided not to order from Dhaliwals again. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work on improving their food quality to regain the trust of their...
Read moreI have been a regular customer at this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food. However, I am very disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered “Chole Bhatoore,” “Paneer Grilled Sandwich,” and “Masala Fries” through DoorDash, and the quality was unacceptable.
The Bhatoore were undercooked, and the Chole tasted bland and watery, completely different from the usual flavour.
The Masala Fries were extremely dry, lacking the usual freshness and taste.
Additionally, I have reported the Dasher’s negligence for not using a proper insulated bag to keep the food warm, especially in this cold weather, which may have contributed to the poor experience. However, the quality of the food itself was very disappointing this time.
I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously to maintain the high standards I have come to expect. Quality consistency is crucial, and I sincerely hope this issue...
Read moreThis place was amazing. I have always been on edge about this place and used to make jokes about how its both a car dealership and a restaurant, but don't make the mistake I did and let it dissuade you! The portion for the price is the best I have found in town and is the second best Indian food in town as well. The staff at the front was super nice and over the phone they were amazing. Even though I went there at 12:30am, the food came out hot and fresh and delicious. The naan was just the right amount of crisp on the edge but warm and soft in the middle. And the amount of rice was perfect for the the butter chicken I got! Next time I am for sure trying the chicken korma and maybe something else too!
TL;DR Most affor4dable and one of the tastiest Indian restaurants in town. Butter chicken and naan was delicious!
P.S. I would love to see you guys offer some cauliflower wings...
