Frankly Coffee And Bistro — Restaurant in Kamloops

I am super disappointed in this coffee shop. I went there this morning after walking in the cold with my son for an hour to find a coffee and breakfast, and after waiting in line for 10 min and then waiting at the counter for another 5 minutes while everyone behind the counter completely ignored me, they finally came to take my order and after I ordered asked for my health pass. I did not have one and when I said I will take it to go they refused to even give me a coffee and food to go because I didn’t have a health pass. I’m not sick, I was wearing a mask and I specifically went there because I know coffee shops are not included in the mandate. It was a terrible experience over all especially after I saw how unsanitary they were, taking dirty cups to refill behind the counter after a customer had been coughing all over the cup at his table. My mom has been a customer of them for a very long time and she recommended them to me. But I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is pleasant; music is never too loud and the premises are always clean. There’s a decent amount of seating for guests though tables must be dragged together if a larger group is out for a visit. Food is made on-site, tastes excellent and arrives in a very reasonable amount of time after the order is placed. Prices are reasonable and it’s nice that they have daily drink and food specials if you’re looking for a deal or to try something new. The parking isn’t ideal as you’re stuck paying on the street or in an Impark yard next door. All said, Frankly is a nice place to meet a friend downtown, it won’t break the bank and it’s not ‘too quirly’ if you’re a more conservative guest looking for a traditional...

This morning, I had brunch downtown, and it was fantastic! The place had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing morning. I ordered the pulled pork and paired it with an Americano. The presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The pulled pork was rich and tender, and the Americano had a deep, clean flavor that went perfectly with the meal.
