Typical McDonald's, ordered 2 items, fries and a shake at one of the kiosks and went to pay at the till. Service was slow, with about 7 staff inside and none at the till. After eventually paying for my 2 items it seemed everyone was doing something except working on my order. I was the only person inside the restaurant, Although I'm fully aware people were going thru the drive-thru. Probably should have gone through the drive-thru. I'm a patient person but on this day this location took the fast out of fast-food. They must typically have 99% drive-thru customers as they seemed completely unprepared for walk-up customers.
One of the staff, a young girl, was coming in the door to start her shift at the same time we arrived. She was beyond pleasant and kind, opening doors, and welcoming us in. Really top-notch customer service from her. A fail for everyone else. I also noticed that when she was in the kitchen her mood changed significantly as she performed her tasks about 15 minutes into her shift. She appeared stressed and a little unnerved. I can only assume that a change so sudden is either a coworker or the manager creating a hostile work environment. Read moreJust want to let everyone in Kamloops know that if you ever order from McDonald's on skip the dishes that their service is quite horrible to be honest when you ask for extra mayo just because you don't get enough on it and u pay for the extra they put so much in there that you might as well use it as a facial cream. My double quarter pounder BLT had literally no meat in it at all and All the fries were half full cold and packed horrible.. So everyone please make sure to check all of your orders that you receive from them prior to eating it it has nothing to do with the delivery service that delivered it ,it's just the service where is been made needs to be taken a bit more serious. We all work hard for our money and when we spend almost $80 to get some McDonald's delivered to your house and it's absolutely horrible it's pretty disheartening. The head office of McDonald's should definitely have some professionals coming and train this stuff much better because the quality of their company and their food is going down horribly and the service is beyond repulsive and that does not go for everyone I am sure they some amazing staff that they have a work for...

Walk in because I just figure I will grab them when they're ready and run out to the car faster than they can come find me. The first thing I see when I walk in is the same girl giving fries out the window 🤷 sit there for a minute to try to make eye contact with someone and realize they are officially serving fries out the window full force. Get someone's attention, explain. They apologize. But still no food? Like four people and a supervisor later, I get handed my burgers but "just finishing up the happy meals" which had both been sitting on the counter waiting for fries in full view the ENTIRE TIME. A solid ten minutes after I walked in someone finally gave me my food and I left. No one in there had any clue what was going and I feel like maybe they need an adult on that shift or something 🤔
Ps my husband just told me they didn't make the burgers properly. I'm speechless. We need a trainer up in that joint or...
