My daily morning order is a large iced coffee. Used to also be a bagel but this tims made me not like bagels anymore.
This is my daily drive through conversation: Me: Hi, can I please just get a large iced coffee? Employee: Just a large iced coffee? Me: Yep Employee: Any espresso shot? Me: Nope Employee: Any donut, muffin, or hashbrown? Me: Nope Employee: Would you like to round up for charity? Me: Nope Employee: Just a large iced coffee? Me: YES Employee: Anything else? Me: NO
This is every single day. Sometimes they skip one of the upsells. Sometimes I say "Can I please get just a large iced coffee with nothing else?" and immediately get met with "any espresso shot?" no "anything else?" no Once I even went so far as to say "Can I please get just a large iced coffee with no espresso shot, no round up, nothing else, just the large iced coffee?" and was met with "Any donut or muffin"? NO, GET THE HINT. "Okay a large iced coffee and that was no cream?" COME ON. I WANT A SINGLE ITEM AND WENT SO FAR AS TO PRE-DECLINE ALL OF YOUR UPSELLS BEFORE YOU SAID THEM.
Another time "Can I please just get a large regular iced coffee?" "regular, you want no milk, no cane, like black coffee?"(lol you mean cane sugar syrup?? what is cane??) NO I ASKED FOR REGULAR.
Anyway this place needs some new management with staff re-training or a new franchisee. I can see the franchisee(or a manager under "the owner") reads the reviews. To you, this is the most utmost garbage service I have ever seen at any tim hortons ever.
Also the employees don't cut the bagels like other tims. And if you get cream cheese, it's a cold chunk on a quarter of the bagel and that's it, enjoy your burnt bread. Butter instead? have fun cleaning your hands because they are putting more on the outside than the inside.
The ONLY upside of this place is that it's on the way to work for me and the employees don't goof up the cream/sugar in the iced coffee every single day, only every few days.
I am close to being rude and just saying what I want then pulling ahead without waiting for confirmation.
Edited in post: there's the reply. "We won't stop upselling down your throat until...
Read moreThis is my second review about the situation. My husband and I were heading out of town on December 31, 2023 and we stopped at Tim Hortons in Valleyview beside the Brick 1735 East TransCanada Highway We always order two wraps, two hashbrowns, two coffee we had nothing but issues with the service. The communication was bad she kept arguing with us they didn’t give us the proper order so we had to order another hash brown and pay for that one when it should’ve been part of the original Order. I have spoken to customer service two times the first time they put me in touch with the wrong manager at the other Tim Hortons in Valleyview farther down the road and when I called them the other day, they changed it to the one that I had the issue at and I still haven’t heard anything. All they did was direct me back to the original Tim Hortons that had the issue with, but the manager hasn’t contacted me so this is become a real issue and if anybody reads this review and they have issues at Tim Hortons then this is the one to avoid. I requested an answer back and the actual other Tim Hortons contacted me because that’s the one that I thought that customer service put me in touch with and they offered to rectify the situation but it’s not their responsibility. I have no problem with that one. I am requesting a gift card for the inconvenience of their service. I will continue to write in reviews about Tim Hortons until I get the proper answers and the proper service. I would like to have a supervisor from the property Tim Hortons contact me and to rectify the situation with the gift card. Usually, I don’t have an issue with anybody but when you get inadequate service and drive-through teller arguing with customers, that’s not a...
Read moreI have to swallow alot of pride for this positive review.
I haven't been a fan of Timmy's for quite some time. I don't know whether it's since Burger King bought them, they stopped making donuts fresh in-house, they changed coffee vendors, they started filtering said replacement coffee through old gym socks, or they got rid of chilli in a bread bowl, but it was definitely before they tried to reinvent the donut with Skor or Kit Kat or have a celebrity collaboration.
These new power bowls are fantastic. They even LOOK good, like actually fairly close to the ads, which is not usually how fast food arrives.
Also, this location got my order right! I only asked for two things, and even though I ordered them directly from the menu with no special alterations, 100% accuracy is not something I'm used to seeing from Tim's anywhere I go.
Something about the management, or maybe even the whole team on June 27th, is...
