Oriental Express Restaurant — Restaurant in Kamloops

Came for a pic up order. Been bedridden for months. Went to pic up my order. The waitress behind the till didn't acknowledge me as she waited on a man ordering for a funeral order. I sat and waited and validated the nice man. The waitress ignored me, no one in the restaurant. After a while I said can I get my pic up. She was rude. Took my order home. It was greasy and no chicken in it. I phoned and she didn't validate me. I asked to speak to the owner and he didn't validate me and said he wouldn't give me a refund. The worst restaurant ever. I could only put 1 star, if it let me I would give a negative and get them shut down. No validation whatsoever. I took my food back with one young man in the restaurant and the waitress was in the back and didn't acknowledge me. Disrespectful. I brought my food back. I said to the lady why are you not helping me? Then 2 men came out and insulted me. They said to go to another restaurant. Then i called back for validation and the young lady laughed at me. Then later I called back to the owner/Manger he said go to another Restaurant. Please go to another Restaurant. Do not give them your hard earned money. The owner said the $500 order was more important than my pick up....

The owners of this establishment are some of the most incredibly kind individuals and I just need to tell you all how amazing their restaurant is. The food is amazing and comes in abundance! Their serving size can easily feed a party of 4, with left overs. The food is never super greasy and has lots of flavour, and I honestly love their food even more when I’m sick I swear it helps me get better especially the hot and sour soup yummmmy. Their seating is nice and cozy and quiet, and they take excellent care of you. And for food that is this good it’s worth the little bit of a wait, it’s always fresh, and often comes out screaming hot! Oriental Express on 8th Street (northshore) in kamloops BC is sooooo rude! They delivered the wrong food and when I called they told me to come and pick up the correct order.

The owner or some man came from the back, gave me 12 dollars, and a bag of food. He told me never to come back and pushed me. He pushed me!! I HAD TO TELL HIM TO DON'T TOUCH ME FOUR TIMES. In the times of covid this man was in my space, and touching me. I have a video of this happening.

He called me a liar, about them delivering the wrong food.

I went in and asked for a refund for part of the meal. Pay 42 dollars for not what I ordered, yeah right. They yelled at me until I was out of the place.
