I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tomato Pie in Kamloops, and I can confidently say it was one of the best pizza experiences I've had! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor is charming and perfectly captures the essence of a cozy pizzeria. The menu offers a fantastic variety of pizzas, including unique specialty options and classic favorites. I opted for the Margherita pizza, and it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew. The fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes were bursting with flavor, and the house-made sauce was a delightful addition. What impressed me even more was the friendly staff. They were attentive and genuinely enthusiastic about the food, which made my experience even more enjoyable. I also appreciated that they offered local craft beers to complement the meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. To top it off, the prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. Tomato Pie is a gem in Kamloops, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious pizza in a welcoming setting. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, you won’t be disappointed!

So, I will get this out of the way: Red Tomato Pies is the best pizza I have had in Kamloops. I will clarify that while I enjoy a thin crust pizza at a sit down restaurant, I want a thicker crust when getting take out. And Red Tomato Pies delivers or in my case, pick up. Red Tomato Pies (RTP) delivered the best crust I have experienced in town. I would actually compare it to how Boston Pizza does their crust where it had a hard on the outside and softer on the inside. The bottom of the slice is also nicely browned while remaining soft to bite with just a bit of crunch. If you need a reason to try RTP, it is to learn how pizza crust should be! I ordered a large “Godfather” pie all for myself so that I could enjoy leftovers and it passed the cold pizza check with flying colours! There was a light spice from the capicola pepperoni and the italian sausage placed carefully under the cheese that was laid on THICC! Their signature tomato sauce has an enjoyable sweetness to it with little extra spices to be seen which is a very impressive feat! Overall you get a nice & heavy pie despite it not being very big. While being new to Kamloops, it is clear that RTP is a seasoned pizzeria. It also happens to be the best thing to come out of Williams Lake.

I first discovered red tomatoe pie 8 years ago while fighting fire in Williams Lake. I ordered the chicken king every other day to the point of the delivery driver knowing exactly where my tent was set up at the airport. I was so excited to hear that the kamloops location was opening up. And besides a few hiccups after opening, they have not disappointed me one bit. I'm happy to see them doing so well, and last night picking up my favorite pizza by far, "the chicken king." I was very happy to hear of the new location downtown. I'm in Valley View. So now I don't have to come so far to get a decent pizza. If you want a pizza done right, give this place a try they have something for everyone with a very respectful vegan pizza section aswell. I'd recommend getting the pizza well done for that extra satisfying crunch. Keep it up, red tomatoe pie. You guys are killing it.

If you haven’t yet experienced the culinary marvel that is Red Tomato Pies, you are in for an extraordinary treat. Allow me to regale you with my recent journey into the land of pizza perfection, where the Meat Lovers and Pepperoni pies stand as titans of taste.

First, let’s talk about the Meat Lovers pizza—a name that does not merely suggest abundance but promises an epic feast. From the moment the box was opened, the rich aroma of savory meats and freshly baked dough enveloped me, making my taste buds quiver in anticipation. Each slice was a symphony of flavor, featuring a robust medley of crispy bacon, spicy sausage, hearty pepperoni, and tender ham, all harmonizing beautifully atop a perfectly seasoned tomato sauce. The blend of cheeses—mozzarella, cheddar, and a hint of Parmesan—melded together in creamy, gooey perfection. The crust was a triumph of its own, with a golden-brown crispiness that provided just the right amount of crunch without overshadowing the sumptuous toppings.

Now, onto the Pepperoni pizza. If you thought the Meat Lovers was impressive, hold onto your taste buds. This classic was elevated to a new realm of deliciousness. The pepperoni slices were expertly layered, each one crisping to a delightful, slightly charred edge while maintaining a juicy, flavorful center. The tomato sauce beneath was a masterpiece in its own right—tangy and rich, it served as the perfect foundation for the pepperoni’s robust spiciness. The cheese, as always, was perfectly melted, creating an indulgent, gooey layer that brought everything together with a harmonious blend of flavors.

Red Tomato Pies doesn’t just make pizza; they craft experiences. The balance of textures and flavors is nothing short of artistry. The crust strikes a flawless balance between crispy and chewy, the sauces are rich and expertly seasoned, and the toppings are fresh, generous, and thoughtfully combined. Each bite of their Meat Lovers and Pepperoni pizzas is a testament to their dedication to pizza perfection.

Whether you’re a seasoned pizza aficionado or just someone with a hearty appetite, Red Tomato Pies delivers an unparalleled pizza experience that will leave you craving more. Their commitment to quality and flavor is evident in every slice, making them a standout choice in a crowded pizza landscape. For anyone who takes their pizza seriously, a visit to Red Tomato Pies is not just recommended; it is...

Delivery areas include: North Shore, Brocklehurst, Bachelor Heights, Westsyde, and Downtown.

Food: Pizza is amazing, good size and toppings. Tons of different veggie and meat toppings you can add. They have your regular pizzas, plus some new fun ones including one that comes with maple syrup!

They have a wide selection of drinks including: Pepsi products (in both 2L and 591ml), juice, Perrier, milks and jones sodas.

While I haven't tried them yet, they also offer wings, cheese/seasoned breads, customizable pasta, salads, and desserts. (Pizza crust with pie filling and a crumble topping, definitely plan on trying that in the future!)

Service: Service has been really good, you can call or order on their website. There doesn't seem to be an option to pay on the website, but I don't mind paying at the door. Delivery can take a bit longer during peak times, which is to be expected. It's worth the wait for the quality of 'za you get though.

Delivery drivers have all been lovely at the door, and if they have any issues finding you they call or text. (Always tip your delivery drivers!!)

Can't speak on the restaurant itself as I haven't been inside.

All in all a very great pizza place! Definitely my new go to place to get pizza because of their lactose free option. I highly recommend and love the opportunity to support a...

Went in to pick up Pizza ordered by my wife on my way home from work. I arrived during the pick up time provided online, paid for my order, then was told I would have to wait for up to 45 mins for my order. I was frustrated and expressed my concerns to the young lady at the counter and thought about just cancelling the order. When I mentioned this, she went to ask her manager if there was anything they could do to get it done faster. She came back advising that it would now only be about 20 mins if I waited. So I kept my order and sat in the waiting area. Shortly after, the manager came to talk to me about the situation. He explained what happened, helped expedite my order, gave me a couple of complimentary dips while I waited, and apologized for the inconvenience. So I never write reviews but wanted to write this one and give the restaurant a 5 star review across the board. And the main reason for this is due to the great customer service that I received after by the manager. He still understands what customer service is all about taking full responsibility for everything. He ensured that I left as a happy customer that will come back another day. And many people would be quick to only list the first part of the experience. Not how it was handled. So thanks to everyone at Red Tomato! The food was...
