Red Tomato Pies, you’ve outdone yourselves. Let me just start by saying, if you’ve never stretched before picking up a pizza, you haven’t lived. Seriously, these pizzas are so generously loaded with toppings that I have to bend at the knees and lift with my legs. It’s like pizza and a workout all in one – who needs a gym membership when you’ve got RTP?

When Red Tomato Pies first opened in Kamloops, I screamed with excitement. Not a little yelp – a full-on scream. And now that they’ve graced downtown Kamloops with their presence, they’re dangerously close to my work. I’m talking perilously close, like “I could eat this every single day” close. It’s a risk I’m willing to take, though, because life is too short for mediocre pizza.

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and let me tell you, they’re as kind and delightful as their pizza is mouthwatering. A perfect reflection of the amazingness that is RTP. Every bite feels like a warm hug from the culinary gods.

So, if you’re in Kamloops and haven’t tried Red Tomato Pies yet, what are you even doing with your life? Get over there, prepare to lift some heavy pizza, and join me in pizza paradise. Five stars, all...

Just ordered 2, 10 inch pizzas. My husband went to pick up at the time we were quoted of how long it will be. He gets there pays- then he was told it was going to be another 10 minutes for the pizza to be well done (what we ordered.) then 10 minutes goes by and they say they messed up the pizza… and it will need to be redone. Then he waited another 15 minutes. Once he got home we noticed there was very little toppings. And almost none on his pizza. We were supper disappointed, as we’ve been to the original red tomatoe pie and this was nothing like it. It’s unfortunate but seems like red tomatoe pie has now become another chain like Pizza Hut... As the toppings spoke...

Probably one of my top 3 pizza places in the world, and I've eaten tons of pizza in my lifetime lol. That infamous neopolitan in Naples where all the celebrities lives up to its name, so does this one here in small town Kamloops.

Anyways I digress, found them at the Best Western Plus digital hotel directory, slick logo so super glad I checked out their menu!!! Ordered their House special, just amazing mozzerakla, fresh, esp their crust, that perfect crisp bite yet not too hard, plus still nice soft chew, man, I gotta to go back!!
