Came through drive thru with my toddlers for lunch. Ordered food, and left the store to find that my burger to my combo, and a junior burger for my toddler wasnât in the bag. No big deal, came back for it. But I guess I didnât pay for my burger to my combo that she asked if I wanted to make into. Proceeded to show me my receipt, and I recited our conversation that when I ordered two jr cheeseburgers, then a cheese burger deluxe without onion, she asked if that one was the big one, and if I wanted to make it a combo. I said yes but Iâll do a poutine and a strawberry lemonade. Added a couple things, done.
When I went in, I explained, and she just said that it wasnât on there. I said OK, my toddlers are waiting in the car by the door (running) , and I gotta be mindful. She repeated herself. I accidentally slipped a f-word in my sentence, not aggressive (my bad). And she stepped herself way back, and said you do not need to swear. I said sorry, my toddlers are just in the car waiting, and I had already left and came back. She glared at me. So I said nevermind, I need to get back to them and left.
I feel like I shouldnât have had to explain three times that I had ordered these two burgers, had to come back for them (wasnât initially any deal), and then repeated to that I didnât pay for them. Okay, I heard you the first time. But câmon. I have cranky babies, Iâm pregnant. I apologized for my mishap.
Either or, whether it be my fault. It shouldnât have been an overwhelming ordeal.
Also, almost everything was room temperature. And buns for the kids were stale.

Read moreBeen coming here for a while and never had issues for inside orders- always a pleasant experience. First time drive thru experience: Jan 5 6:15pm Jcb extra mayo and jr frosty - chocolate (the only flavour we always get)
Ordered a chocolate jr frosty for my kid. Very rushed speech at the DT window, extremely speedy and hurried voice. Got to second window and was given a vanilla frosty. They argued and said I said vanilla -though I get chocolate every time.. Then the manager -guessing because she was in a different uniform snatched it out my hands and told the other employee to just make another one. Wow. They both looked so unhappy⌠i asked why they were so upset and they said they werntâŚ. No apologies given, not even âno worries we will have that right upâ nothing, instead put the guilt on me. Kinda sad when the whole team is working so hard to bring service times down, but visibly stressed, which in turn hurts the guest experience with a rushed ânextâ feeling. Slow down. Friendliness goes a long...
Read moreBe careful when you order from the new Wendyâs on Northshore. Make sure your burger meat is COOKED. I ordered a Daveâs Double, and a Baconator and they were BOTH pink inside. My partner ate their burger because they do not like to complain, but from a former worker in the food industry, I did not accept it. I sent my burger back 3 TIMES and it was still pink. The 3rd time AFTER APPARENTLY BEING COOKED âWELL DONEâ I couldnât even eat it because I lost my appetite. I got home, took a bite and realized it wasnât all cooked, as I could taste the uncooked beef. Seems like kids work here, and are inexperienced. BE SAFE AND MAKE SURE YOUR BURGERS ARE COOKED.
1 star as only the fries and poutine were good.
DO BETTER WENDYS. No hate as I love Wendyâs (up the hill) but make sure that s* is cooked. Donât rush it!!! I dined in, so I canât believe the many customers that drove away and most likely gotten sick because their burgers were not...
