Our waitress seemed completely disinterested. She wasn't rude or impolite but she wasn't outwardly friendly or engaging. The inside was warm and inviting. The new owners have done a great job with it in general. My wife ordered the special; a mushroom Swiss melt sandwich with fries and I ordered a pound of undusted maple bacon wings with carrot and celery sticks. The food was fast out of the kitchen. My wife's food was very good and she was quite pleased with hers. Mine was a different story. Firstly, when the food came our waitress put my wings in front of me and in an unfeeling tone stated that they were out of vegetables. She offered no substitute for that. It was like too bad, so sad. Next to my amazement, my pound of wings that I paid $15 for was 8 wings in total. Usually a pound of wings is 10-12 wings. That's $1.87 per wing which is quite high in my experience. The worse part was the wings had zero maple bacon taste. There was a miniscule amount of maple bacon powder in the bottom of the basket. I could smell it faintly, but no taste of it. When our meal was almost completely eaten, our waitress came back and asked how things were. Too little too late for me. I told her that the wings had no taste. She went into the kitchen and got me a small dish of the seasoning, but I was already on my last wing. I told her that but she got out of there quickly and without saying anything more. When we were done, our table got cleared quickly but we waited upwards of 10-14 minutes for the check to come so we could pay. After about 8 minutes we put our cost and hat on the send a hint. If I decide to go back, I won't order the wings again that's for sure. My wife was very happy with her food, so I hope most of this negative experience can be chalked up to the restaurant being very new and things will improve as they progress. I made reservation for 2 for 6:00 pm Saturday Dec 7th. On arrival we were shown to the downstairs part of the restaurant and seated at a table. We then noticed our table was adjacent to a row of washrooms doors. Don't make a reservation , you will most likely get a better table.

My wife ordered maple salmon with veggies and baked potato a glass of wine I ordered the daily special, ribs and wings with fries plus a glass of beer. As we were waiting for our meal, our waitress came and advised my wife that they ran out of baked potatoes. My wife switched to fries. We then ordered another round of drinks before our food arrived. A gentleman brought our food to our table and we started to eat. My wife said her salmon was cold as was her veggies. Also her salmon had no taste of maple. My ribs were cold, not even lukewarm although my wings and fries were hot. We mentioned this to our waitress, she went upstairs to talk to the manager. She came back and and advised us that she would reduce both dinners by 50%. While waiting for our bill , a person behind us received their meal which included a...Baked Potatoe , which we were advised they had run out of. We paid our bill and proceeded to leave. My wife found the manager and voiced her displeasure over the cold meals as well that after being told there were no more baked potatoes, someone was served one. The manager tried to excuse this by saying that this person's meal was prepared at same time ours was and they got the last one. Except that we had already been served and eaten by the time this person's meal was served.

Went with my family tonight as I used to come here all the time as a kid, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The food was horrible, the fact that even a Greek salad didn’t come with the dressing already on it speaks volumes about the way the food is prepared. Just pure laziness and I ordered a chicken burger that was made using frozen chicken strips, burnt pickles that were supposed to be deep fried and some wilted lettuce, plus the driest bun that could have knocked someone out if tossed at them. My poor daughter got beef tacos that lacked any sort of flavour and meat so dry, she had to drink right after to be able to swallow it.

Now the service was beyond horrible, there were 2 servers and two tables and we had to chase our girl down for a refill and even after asking her she continued to speak with the other server and walked around for a bit before remembering the drink. She lacked customer service skills and I think it hurt the other waitress to smile at all. Not to mention the male bartender completely ignored us when we walked in and were standing there looking at him. He instructed one of the girls to deal with us, wouldn’t be hard to welcome guests considering the size of the establishment and lack of customers on the inside.
