Oh, amigos! Ronny Mexico here, taco enthusiast and certified loco for all things delicioso! I just salsa'd my way into 'Flip Flops and Hops' in Kelowna, and let me taco 'bout how this place guacs my world!

First off, the tacos are to die for – not literally, but you get the jalapeño of it. They've got more layers than a piñata has candies, and every bite is a fiesta in your mouth. And the quesadilla? It's like a cheesy embrace from your abuela, if your abuela was a gourmet chef with a knack for spice!

The service? Outrageous, in the best way! It's like every waiter is on a margarita-fueled mission to make your meal magnificent. They're not just serving food; they're serving up happiness on a platter.

Flipflops and Hops is such a great place to chill, they have delicious eats and drinks. Their menu is tasty, the ramen is my personal favorite. They have an amazing selection of beer on tap, no problem picking what flight you want as you'll want to try them all. Also local wine and cider for the non-beer drinkers. It's family friendly, they have a great selection of icecream. The decor at flipflops is so cute and fun, there's a massive penny wall, it's fun for kids to find your birth year amongst the 1000s of pennies. The staff is great and super friendly. Due to covid, they do have to limit the number of customers at your table to 6, we felt very comfortable there and safe. OMG what a place!! This restaurant has a cool vibe and the tap beers are out of this world 🌎 They are strong, delicious and served chilled (I mean at the perfect temperature). Beers are stronger than any place I have ever tried. No hangovers/ headaches whatsoever. High quality beer for sure. Just ordered pretzel for food and it was worth the money. Will try more food options soon. They have a seating inside plus a patio outside. Nicely decorated, furniture is a combo of sofas and table chairs for seating. They also have a pack of cards on the table for some fun. This place is definitely a hidden gem 💎 Highly recommended!!
