Just when we had given up hope that there was no good pizza around, Red Tomato Pies, came into the picture! Such great pizza! We were tired of the cardboard tasting crusts, and bland toppings. Here is my breakdown:
Crust: perfectly crispy at the bottom while still fluffy on the inside. Imagine the OG Pizza Hut crunch but without the oiliness. It tasted like real dough and not cardboard.
Toppings: quality toppings. Weirdly, you can actually taste the difference and freshness. The meats don’t have that weird preservative smell low quality deli meats do. I never thought I would be the type of person to say you can actually taste the difference but it’s true! When you’ve had so much bad pizza, good toppings stands out.
Sauce: such a good base for the pizza! I have been finding the pizza sauce at other places to be suspiciously sweet lately. At Red Tomato Pies, It’s so perfectly tangy and seasoned. I get why their phone line says they’re not going to give out the recipe lol
Cheese: the cheese to toppings ratio is perfect! They cook the cheese perfectly golden brown but you still get a terrific cheese pull. Their cheese pizza was so good we couldn’t even wait to get home to eat it, we had it in the car.
Variety: they have such unique pizza types. You can see someone took the time to think of what flavours go well together. I love all the unique vegetarian pizza varieties.
So far we have tried : Pepperoni, Cheese, The God Father, Chicken Pesto, A-Maize-ing Chipotle, Veggie Smokehouse, twisted Bruschetta, Veggie Pesto. Would recommend them all.
Now if only they made desi style pizza with ginger, green chilies, methi and cilantro. That would...

As someone with celiac disease, I’ve come to expect disappointment when it comes to gluten-free food — especially pizza. But this place completely changed the game. This is hands-down the closest thing to a real, traditional pizza I’ve had since going gluten-free.
What sets them apart? For starters, they make their gluten-free dough in-house — a rarity in a world where most places just reheat outsourced, frozen crusts. You can taste the difference. The crust strikes a perfect balance between Greek and New York-style — crispy, chewy, flavorful — everything you’d want in a proper pizza base.
The toppings are generous, fresh, and well thought-out. It’s clear this isn’t just a “gluten-free option” slapped on the menu; they put real care and intention into making something great.
I also had the pleasure of chatting with the staff, and they were incredibly friendly and professional. You can tell they care about what they’re serving and the people they’re serving it to.
To all my fellow celiacs and gluten-sensitive friends: do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won’t be...
Read moreWe tried Red Tomato Pies pizza for dinner last night for the first time. We got the Insane 4 cheese, with BBQ ranch & Curry Pineapple dips. The gentleman helping us recommended his favourite dip with it, which was the curry pinapple - it paired amazingly. He recommended BBQ ranch for the kids, and they loved it. I was nervous about spending $31.50 on a single XL pizza thinking it may not be enough to feed a family of 3 - I was so wrong. They cut the XL into 10 pieces, so each of us had 3, and 2 of us were so full, one had a slice left over, and there was still a spare piece left! It was more than enough to feed a parent and two tween kids! There was plenty of dip left, too. The pizza was the best we have ever had! The portion size was perfect. The quality of ingredients beats everyone in town! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We can’t say enough good things about our experience! Thank you so much!
