Ordered for a family gathering yesterday. Beef & broccoli, crispy chicken, sauteed prawns and deep-fried prawns were great. My 2 stars reflects the 3 orders of Chicken Chow Mein , which I've always considered a staple of my Chinese food , and if I was eating alone, is normally the only dish, with possibly a small side dish, that I order. If that had been the case, I would have been VERY disappointed and angry. I have never experienced a Chicken Chow Mein dish so bereft of ingredients.....basically, this item was nothing more than containers of egg noodles interspersed with a few tiny flakes of chicken......that's it.....no veggies, no bean sprouts, no ANYTHING that I've come to associate with and enjoy as Chow Mein over the years. It's clear that this place prepares decent fare, as evidenced by the other items in our order, however, such a glaring inconsistency with EVERY other Chow Mein dish I've had over many decades was a real turn-off. This item should be listed as 'Egg Noodles', so there's no confusion with the dish produced by establishments who know what Chow Mein is. The almost laughable dearth of actual chicken in an item with 'chicken' in the title simply put an exclamation mark on the...
Read moreI stopped by this restaurant today for the very first time and it has been my worst restaurant experience to date. Got the food, there was mushroom, I'm allergic. On top of that, the food was presented like dog food or garbage. I ordered combo E and everything was just stuck to each other and cold. I called to make the complain and everything went down hill. The host called me crazy, she called me a liar, she said I was a pain, she told me that it was my fault, she told me that it is my business, she compared the business with Mcdonald's, she said I was difficult all because she did not want to refund me all my money including the taxes paid. I told her to ensure that her boss sees this footage and tell him all the names she called me. Absolute worst, that employee knows nothing about service or customer service and should not be on...
Read moreI viewed the wok out website menu, then called to place an order for delivery. Found out each individual dish I wanted was actually 1 dollar more than advertised. (Strike one) Then I was told that delivery over 5km was free but zi was 5.2km.. so delivery would be 3 to 4 dollars.. I asked is it 3 or is it 4 dollars for the additional .2km.. she said again delivery charge is 3 to 4 dollars. (Strike 2)
Then she explained because my order wasnt over 40 dollars she would need to charge me another 5 bucks to put it over.. offered me spring rolls.. I said wait a second.. so you want to charge me 3 to 4 dollars for delivery plus another 5 bucks to put me over 40 plus an addition dollar over your website price on each item. She said yes. (Strike 3)
Order cancelled on...
