A&W Canada — Restaurant in Kimberley

I stood at the counter for 5 mins before anyone came to serve me and there were no other customers in the drive through or at the counter. Then the man that served me looked homeless with holes in his shirt that was nearly see-through. He took my money and without washing his hands, immediately started to prepare my food with his dirty hands. To top it off, I get my food to find that he upsaled me on my drink which I didn't ask for, to get more money out of me. I will like never be back to this place. Every time I have been to this location in the past 5 years, they have not listened to my order and even though they ask to upsale my order and I decline, they do it anyways. This new time going there, they upsaled me over double the cost of the meal I ordered. English and morals are difficult...

The A&W franchise in Kimberly is a hit with the locals and sojourner alike. There is a small adjustment made with hours and sometimes wait times that may make a city slicker do a double take but because of a smaller population here in 🏞️ Kimberly, they don't have a thousand burgers pre-made ready for a mile long line up that is typical in larger cities. So ya get your burgers and goodies fresh up and made with care by dedicated staff who've been just awesome every time I have pulled up and ordered. Went to get some food after working a long day outside. Seen the they have their teen burgers on for 3.99. Well that's what all the signs say all over the windows and on the big bill board out front. I ordered 2 teenburgers, onion rings and 2 apple turnovers. Got to the window to pay and it was more than I thought. I asked about the 3.99 burgers. Worker told me that it is tomorrow's price not tonight. I asked if they would honor it as there is signage all over. They were very persistent that they will not honor the price and that is my choice to Pay regular price or go some where else. I chose to leave and not support the local a and w.
