I recently had the pleasure of trying two unique biryani dishes: Manchurian Biryani and Brinjal Biryani, and both left a lasting impression. Manchurian Biryani This dish beautifully combines the bold, spicy flavors of Indian biryani with the tangy, saucy appeal of Chinese Manchurian. The fried Manchurian balls were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside—making them an excellent complement to the aromatic and well-spiced rice. The fusion of soy sauce, chili, and Indian masalas was executed skillfully, creating a delightful explosion of flavors. Each bite was rich, flavorful, and satisfying, making it a perfect choice for spice lovers and those looking for something unconventional. Brinjal Biryani The Brinjal Biryani was a pleasant surprise, showcasing how well this humble vegetable can shine in a biryani dish. The brinjal pieces were cooked to perfection, soft yet firm, with their natural flavor enhanced by the rich, spicy biryani masala. The smokiness of the brinjal paired wonderfully with the fragrant basmati rice, giving the dish an earthy, wholesome feel. This biryani is an excellent vegetarian option that doesn’t compromise on flavor or satisfaction.
Verdict
Both dishes stood out for their creativity and taste. While the Manchurian Biryani is perfect for adventurous foodies craving a fusion experience, the Brinjal Biryani offers a hearty and comforting traditional taste with a twist. I’d highly recommend both for anyone looking to try something unique and flavorful.
Would I go back? Absolutely! These dishes are a must-try for biryani...
Read moreDrove to Waterloo from Mississauga on a personal work and stoped by Kachiguda Junction. I must say this place serves better food Than most restaurants from Hyderabad. We are frequent diners from quite a few restaurants from Mississauga, Brampton. Etobicoke, Scarborough. Most can't match the quality of Indian food served here. This one from Waterloo area really stood up.. Many of the restaurants in GTA should go here and understand what indian food is..
Ordered

Read moreI have been to the restaurant recently and ordered Chef’s Special Biryani. Undoubtedly, Biryani was tasty, great quantity, fast and friendly service. But why am I giving 2 stars? Here is the reason: As soon as we sat on the table, we were given a 500ml water bottle and the menu( No glass to drink that btw), we ordered the Biryani and Pops. Biryani was served in like 7 minutes, but no pops. Asked for the pop, the guy asked which one, I said Coke, he brought it and said they have Thumps Up as well and if I want the Thumps Up instead and I agreed. Everything sounds perfect right? But no.
I was charged for the water bottle, amount was tiny, 60c. Does this amount matter? No. But if charged without informing, it matters because it’s cheating.
Price of Thumps Up(3.95) was almost double than the Coke ($2.5). Would I have taken it if he would have mentioned the price when he suggested that? No. Again felt cheated.
The idea of extracting as much money as possible is a common back in India, but haven’t witnessed a lot here in Canada. But this restaurant helped me to bring those memories back. I was telling my wife while eating that its a great spot close to our home where we can stop by frequently. But when we came out with the bill in hand, we unanimously decided not to go back. I completely support your pricing policy, no argument in that, but I don’t support something...
