Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Kitchener

I visited Mary Brown’s on Monday and finally tried their famous Big Mary — and I have to say, it completely lived up to the hype. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The seasoning had just the right balance of flavor without being too heavy, and the bun was fresh and soft, tying it all together. It was one of those sandwiches you want to slow down and enjoy bite by bite.

Beyond the food, what really made my visit stand out was the service. Simran went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From greeting me with a smile to making sure my order was quick and fresh, she really added a personal touch that made the whole experience memorable.

We normally visit this branch twice or thrice a month but it was our last time visiting this branch. We went to open our fast and ordered 9 pieces of chicken. The chicken was soggy and cold. We complained about it, the lady didn't want to replace the chicken because it was spicy chicken. Finally, she replaced the chicken with other 9 pieces, guess what? They were cold as well. I complained again, she said these chickens comes from hot cabinet and if you need crispy chicken then call us 10min before coming so we can cook fresh bird for you.

Arrived only one person ahead of us. Placed our order waited 15 minutes for a big mary combo and a Buffalo mary combo and a gravy. Person came in after us and ordered. Our food was given to them and they noticed right away. Got home the big mary bun was hard as a rock and dried out wife had to eat just the chicken. The Buffalo mary burger was dumped in Buffalo sauce bun was soggy and falling apart. Only good thing was the taters and gravy. People behind the counter were serving one customer at a time. Had 2 registers available only using one. It was a bit expensive for the size of the burger and taters. $35 for both. Been to other mary browns and food was...
