My friend told me about this place they serve nice food. So yesterday we went to this place. And spent $14.99 for a paratha to actually see how the taste of paratha. Literally if I am talking about your team PWG compared to Toronto. Four important things I found inside this restaurant to improve.
Atmosphere. The person who took us to a place to sit was smelling so badly like a kid may have urine or something like that. Still we change place and adjust ourselves. No health and hygiene maintain.
Server When we order a paratha in Toronto 1 paratha is enough for 2 person compare to here the food quantity reduce to half while price are similar to Toronto. Food is not matched with the price paid for now I consider the owner is greedy or chief is new untrained or even worst part we are eating a premade paratha from frozen freeze. Overall, not satisfied with the proportion.
Paratha. The paratha was over cooked thin the chief made dough so thing that everything was already outside. Now I consider this as a readymade paratha or restaurant has a tight budget for flour.
Allergies The server didn't ask about any allergies or health of customers they just focused on making money rather than customer satisfaction. To illustrate, I am lactose intolerant and my friend has adverse reactions whenever she eats over cooked food. She got a reaction in her body.
Overall, my stand to this paratha wali gali is just for making money by selling unhealthy food and alcohol (Beverage) I am sure I will never visit this place again.
Because this place makes the worst paratha in Ontario. I even make paratha at my home within 20 -25 minutes better than what they have served us yesterday. Definitely a wrong option to eat here and taste the parathas.
All the best to the next visitor and...
Read moreNot kid friendly at all, the staff member (her name is Ronik and was probably a supervisor) was very even when the mistake was on their part. I had asked for a aloo pyaz paratha with no green chillies and medium spice however, their spice level was the same as the one I had ordered for myself. She argued angrily and rudely in front of my 2 year old and has a very bad attitude. Looks like the management has changed as I have been here a number of times when they had a smaller space in Kitchener and the owner was very good. The server agreed to replace the paratha with plain aloo paratha with no spice and only salt. They got this order wrong as well and only brought a plain paratha with no aloo but we decided to ignore as the kid was ok with it. Later we got to know that they had never replaced and had charged us for the spicy paratha as well as the new one which was then taken off when I confronted them. Terrible service and the worst staff member named Ronik that I have ever come across at a restaurant with zero customer service and communication skills. Bad attitude! Will...

One paratha is enough to serve two hungry people. I don't recommend over ordering because the food is very oily. Although the food is oily, it is very yummy! If you are ordering a pizza, make sure to stick to one because it is so filling that it serves 2-3 people. Each paratha comes with butter, curd, pickle, and Daal Makhani. Since the food is so heavy, the best time to go to the resturant for dinner is 5:30-6 for the food to digest before you sleep.
As for the restaurant's ambience, it is okay. It's really cramped and hard to walk around in. The restaurant is always full and the space is small, so I don't blame the staff. Speaking of the staff, they are a bit slow and do not automatically give water and cutlery( except for napkins and spoons ). I recommend wiping the cutlery and plates before using them with a napkin or preferrably a wet wipe.
Overall, it is a decent restaurant with delicious food and okay service. Have a good time whenever and if you...
