Thoughts and Recommendation
As with most things, I am super picky with ice cream haha. I actually find myself typically unable to finish small servings of ice cream because of the overwhelming sweet flavour. I also do not like overly sweet things, so you get the picture.
I really liked this ice cream because it is creamy, not too sweet, and a great base for toppings. Don't get me wrong, it stands well alone, but with my simple toppings, it stood out as an incredible alternative to the more "heavy" ice cream offerings I have sampled.
The ice cream is "thick" but melts at a reasonable pace. The texture reminds me of frozen custard, except less liquidy, and less rich (in a very good way). The mouth feel was outstanding, I honestly think it had some of the best mouth feel I've ever experienced with soft-serve ice cream. The customer service was wonderful, as always, and virtually all staff members are equipped to handle picky people like me with information, recommendations, and answers to my million-and-one questions.
All in all, I strongly recommend you check them out!

Read moreI've been coming to this place for years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly service I especially come for the grape ice cream. Found out today that they discontinued the grape ice cream no problem. I mention to the girl that that's all I've ever gotten when ever I came. I asked if I could try a different flavor before I purchase it. She told me no they are no longer allowed to give out samples. Which I thought was bizarre. Especially because I explained my situation that I've only ever gotten one kind and I wanted to try the mint ice cream before I purchase it because every mint ice cream is different. I ended up purchasing the cookie dough ice cream. I got it in a cup. The cup looked like a kids size not to mention the price was $4.50. Every year the prices go up and every year the portions go down. My question is...is the owner starting...
Read moreAvoid it! The girls working there are sweet but the owner... not so much. Greedy and inconsiderate. One of my kids dropped her ice cream -a portion worth about $7.00 from a total of $35.00 for the 5 cones I bought. This was quite a hefty price tag for some ice cream but I thought, ah well, once in a while I might as well, they're kids. Anyways, this cone tilted and the whole thing ended up on the ground right after the girl at the window handed it to my daughter. The kid didn't even get to take one bite. The worker said, "When we see you drop it, we will give you another one." However, the owner refused to replace it. "No, I'm not gonna give her another one for free!" What a mean and cheap way of treating your customers after waiting in line for a prolonged...
