On New Year’s Eve 2025, my husband and I went to this McDonald’s, feeling excited to celebrate the new year. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing.
As soon as I arrived, I went to the restroom. I am 55 years old, and I have never seen such an unsanitary scene in my life. A used, bloody sanitary pad had been left on the floor near the toilet, and the toilet seat, flush handle, and tiles were covered in blood. I felt extremely nauseous and could not use the restroom. When I attempted to wash my hands, I noticed blood stains on the sink as well. It was truly shocking and unacceptable.
I informed the staff about the condition of the restroom, but they showed no concern or urgency to address the issue. While we were sitting and eating, I saw other customers go to the restroom, encounter the same scene, and report it to the staff, but they also ignored their complaints.
I told my husband we should go home to eat, but he had already placed an order for a double cheeseburger. After eating, we returned home.
Shortly after, I experienced a severe sore throat, followed by fever and chills. For two days now, I have been very ill. I suspect one of the employees preparing the food may have had COVID-19, as I believe I have contracted it.
I am deeply disappointed by the lack of hygiene at this location. This experience has completely shattered my trust in McDonald’s and the standards of cleanliness in Canada. Unfortunately, I started the new year...
Read moreConsistently inconsistent. Most visits I either get a wrong item or very poorly made correct item.
Drive thru is reasonably prompt but ordering inside involves a fairly long wait. I always use the kiosk to order but I routinely see people wait at the unattended counter, looking for an employee to take their order.
All the food is normal McDonalds fare, exactly what you’d get at any other location, except made with less care or attention than other locations. Sandwiches are almost always sloppily assembled, stacked very unevenly, clearly made by someone who doesn’t care at all. If it takes 6 seconds to make a sandwich poorly, I think it would be worth the extra 3 seconds to make it properly.
The facility itself is fine, usually reasonably clean.
I keep going back to this location because it’s extremely convenient, but it’s always a disappointment in some way, and it makes me feel dumb for spending my money there.
Edit: photo of my most recent visit. They gave me the right drink for my order, but the contents of the bag was entirely wrong. Normally I’d think they just grabbed the wrong bag, but the receipt in the bag was my correct receipt. It’s not TOO bad since a 10 nugget meal is more expensive than my order, but they didn’t even give me a dip. Very strange, but totally normal screw up from this very sloppy location. Feels like there is no...
Read moreHorrible GM and service! We went through drive-thru and ordered three meals just to get home after a long drive and find out they messed up all three. We called and they offered to remake the burgers if we came back that same day or next day. When I went back they gave me a hard time in drive through, telling me I had to go into the restaurant. When I went into the restaurant they were being rude to me telling me they couldn't find me in the book, refusing to help me. The general manager came over on a power trip telling me that he was a general manager and not going to do anything for me and that he didn't have time to fight with me. He was very sassy and ignorant. He denied making any phone calls to the other manager on duty that we spike with or looking into the situation for me. I'm lucky that I had taken pictures of the order number and the burgers that were made wrong which you could clearly see the mistakes. If it wasn't for that, he would have never have cared to help us or shown any type of proper customer service. This "general manager" immediately treated me like I was trying to just get free food and scam them and it was humiliating being in the restaurant being treated like that. I don't know who promoted this guy but he is not what I would want running my restaurants. I've been in Hospitality for 25 years and I've never met...
