Pahalwan dhaba — Restaurant in Kitchener

We a group of 5 ladies planned our kitty and visited this restaurant. We placed our order as usual and some of us also ordered takeout to go with each of us. We requested the server to bring us our bill separately for what we all had eaten vs. everyone's takeout.

She brought us our bill and we asked her if she could split it. She refused. We went to the front counter and the lady (it seemed she was the owner) on cash lost her temper on us after we asked her. Snapped and told us to leave.

We were SHOCKED at her attitude and offered to at least let us pay.

But she was not ready to listen. In front of her other customers, she just ignored and continued with her business.

Sadly, people forget that customer service is the key to a successful business. 5 of us will make sure we tell 5 more people each not to go to this pathetic place. There are plenty of good food options available now. People will go where they feel welcome and served with a smile!

Not going to this place that has such ridiculous owners who...

The lady working at this restaurant was not just rude but displayed a level of customer service that I have never encountered before. From the moment I walked in, her attitude was unpleasant. When I placed my order for the fish fry, she actually scoffed and made a snide remark, as if I was a complete fool for choosing it.

Throughout my meal, her disdain for customers was evident. She didn't bother to check if everything was alright with our food or if we needed anything. When I tried to ask a question about the menu, she responded with impatience and rolled her eyes.

It's astonishing how someone in the service industry can have such a terrible attitude towards patrons. It not only ruined the dining experience but also left a lasting negative impression of the restaurant. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice, unless you have a penchant for subpar food and abysmal...

We ordered 10 plate chat papree. Takeout we checked at home just papre , Dahi , and chat no salt properly and no chat masala and small boxes inside the box no channa no onions no potato’s … kids and guests eating like that only big pieces of Papree with yogurt and sauces but they r thinking after papree Channa and potatoes are inside but only Papree and we called she said come and change after she gave only one small box channa and potato and onion only one one boxes for 10 plate of chat papreee and attitude on her face # Bad experience bad food 😡. Owner lady behaviour very bad and they gave only one small Chana box , one potatoes with onion . for 10 boxes of Papree chat …no smile or her face with customers and no apologies I think 😡 One small channa and potatoes one box is enough for 10 plates … don’t make fool people —# I have a picture she gave us channa etc… for on the side # Oversmart...
