My friends and I wanted to try East African food and stumbled upon this restaurant. It is a new spot and the menu looked great, so we went about booking a reservation for our party.
It was very quiet, but the atmosphere was warm and the family running the restaurant were all incredibly lovely. Always checking in, giving us insight on the menu, and going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals!
The shared platter was a great deal. 30 dollars per person and portions were massive for 4 people. 2 large appetizer trays with a variety of options and then a huge tray of injera covered in all types of meats and vegan options! I got the Queen of Sheba platter and it was so tasty. More than enough food for dinner and lunch tomorrow. If you are wanting to be able to sample a bit of everything, I definitely recommend this platter. The meat was tender, everything was flavoured so well.
