My friends and I wanted to try East African food and stumbled upon this restaurant. It is a new spot and the menu looked great, so we went about booking a reservation for our party. It was very quiet, but the atmosphere was warm and the family running the restaurant were all incredibly lovely. Always checking in, giving us insight on the menu, and going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals! The shared platter was a great deal. 30 dollars per person and portions were massive for 4 people. 2 large appetizer trays with a variety of options and then a huge tray of injera covered in all types of meats and vegan options! Everything was cooked fresh and it certainly tasted that way because it was absolutely delicious! I can’t believe not more people know about this spot. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning!

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment to organize a potluck for my company dinner. Although I was initially uncertain about the best way to proceed, the owner, who is quite knowledgeable in this field, quickly assembled a wonderful array of dishes for my event. I am truly appreciative of her outstanding service. The menu featured Kategna (injera) served with Habesha (Eritrean and Ethiopian) vegetables, vegetable spring rolls, falafel, meat sambusas, and an assortment of dipping sauces. The food was absolutely delicious.

Was my first experience with East African food tonight and certainly won’t be my last. I got the Queen of Sheba platter and it was so tasty. More than enough food for dinner and lunch tomorrow. If you are wanting to be able to sample a bit of everything, I definitely recommend this platter. The meat was tender, everything was flavoured so well. Not sure what kind of sorcery went into the greens but they are absolutely the best I have ever had. Plenty of delicious options for both meat eaters and vegans!
