So happy to see another local cafe open up here in KW!

I’m not a coffee connoisseur, but I got to say the beans they use for their espressos are very delicious. I typically get a latte. They have fresh-baked goods that are not only delicious, but a good size too! The owners also let me know they’re looking to expand options as they get more established. They have special offerings on the weekends too, just check their insta.

To my fellow students, it is a bit far from King/University by bus (about 20-30 min depending where you’re travelling from) BUT...between the ample seating, fast wifi, charging ports, and delicious food options, it’s definitely worth the trip to get some work done! There’s also halal-friendly, Caribbean, and Greek restaurants in the plaza next to the cafe if you’re feeling...

Fantastic freshly baked scones, and perfectly steeped loose leaf tea!

First off, the scones. We got a chocolate scone and a cheddar and chive scone. They were both freshly baked and stuffed full of flavour. No skimping here! Buttery and flaky and so so delicious.

Second, the loose leaf tea! Most cafes, if they have a selection of tea at all, only have bags of tea. Instead, The Grove has a great selection of loose leaf teas.

We had a chai latte and London fog, and they were flavourful with just the right level of sweetness. Usually we have to order our drinks half sweet, but they don’t go overboard here which is a nice change.

So great to see a lovely new cafe in this...

I always walk by on my daily walks and today I decided to finally pop in. The atmosphere is super warm and cozy. I was politely greeted right away. I let them know it was my first time there and they were super helpful. I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk which I typically get anywhere else, and I really enjoyed the one I got from here. Good tasting matcha and not too sweet. I didn’t stick around as I was continuing my walk but I’d most definitely come back to have a sit down coffee. Great first time...

The Grove Cafe is leaving a mark in the Lancaster NE side of Kitchener with Delcious speciality coffee selections from Hatch and Phil & Sebastian and Matchstick roasters. Many cafe goers venture into the uptown and downtown corridor to sneak a drink and a laptop session. but if you love cozy, cafe ambiance, alone or good classic social time -date idea? The Grove is sure to live up to their brand name and dog friendly .
