me and my friend have been going here every morning during our spare to do school work and eat breakfast. this morning the manager started yelling at us saying that we have a time limit till 10 AM because “this is not a hang out spot”. we have been going there EVERY morning since the start of the school year and there has been no issues otherwise. All of the other staff are very nice, it is just the manager that is extremely rude. she also accused me of vaping when i was just putting on my lip gloss and when i told her oh it’s just lip gloss she said still put it away. She threatened to call security on us for tresspassing. I find this extremely unprofessional and very rude to paying customers especially since this has not been an issue for 5 months. i understand that some high schoolers can be disrespectful in establishments especially during school hours, however my friend and I simply sit down, get coffee or breakfast basically every day and do our school work since the school wifi isn’t the greatest and we find being at tim hortons makes us focus more. If there was a time limit placed before I would respect it but there has never been an issue beforehand so I was very confused today. My friend and I both assumed that she was talking to this other group of boys there, so we did not leave. It was 5 after 10 and she had asked us if we were leaving. we explained to the manager that we have been there every day and she said that she doesn’t care and that she was sick of it and that we needed to leave. I have never had an experience like this before at any establishment let alone a Tim Hortons. Of course students will be going there because it is a 2 minute walk from the school. If she doesn’t want students there than she can put signs saying so as other businesses in the same...
Read moreReally not surprised on all of the 1 star reviews. Honestly, who ever owns this Tim Hortons should actually be ashamed.. It's a joke. It's like every time I attempt to go to this location, it's a new, untrained employee with the worst customer service. Not to mention, they've apparently been out of chicken for weeks? Which isn't as big of a problem as countless wrong orders.
Fun Story: I once ordered a chicken wrap, could barely understand the person at the drive thru. Apparently they were out of chicken but I couldnt understand them. They somehow ended up confidently allowing me to order a chicken wrap, and when I opened the wrap acouple minutes down the road it was lettuce, tomato, and ranch sauce. Literally no chicken. Paid full price.
This place is an absolute joke. The Tim Hortons brand itself should abolish this location.
Conclusion: There's a fantastic location about 1 minute around the corner, in the plaza on the corner of Bleams and Homer Watson.
If I could spit on the brick walls of this establishment, I would. But I'm not sure I could bring myself to come within...
Read moreThis location on weekends is the worst in Kitchener. Their weekend shifts work like they think it's spring break. Always very slow and and cannot seem to get an order of 1 coffee right. Today I called to complain. I have done this about 5 times over the last 3 years, and have received the same song and dance. I do not understand today's youth. It's simple. There is first one simple task....listen to the order. Then, beep boop...hit a button. Here comes the hard part....you then have to read.........original , 1 milk, 1 sugar. I do have to admit though, they get it right in the lid every time. I am curious what happens between entering it right into the till and putting the right marking on the lid. I don't understand how the task of making a coffee could be more simple. Guess the milk/ cream and sugar machines here are not " interactive" enough to hold the attention of today's youth. I gave this location 2 stars because their morning staff on weekdays is amazing. They should get the weekday morning staff to teach these kids and fire the chimp that's doing their...
