I was waiting to see if KFCâs corporate office would get my situation fixed for me before posting this review but it seems they are just as incompetent as the store I ordered from, so here is my review and warning to anyone else considering going to the location on AmyCroft Drive in Tecumseh/Lakeshore. If you order here the terrible service youâll likely receive is your own fault if you read this before ordering. Anyway my family and I decided to take advantage of KFC offer of buy one bucket get one free on Super Bowl Sunday. I placed my order online for delivery at 5:15 pm and received confirmation my food should arrive around 5:45. At 6:30 when it had still not arrived I tried calling the store (several times I might add) but nobody answered. At this point I thought ok they are busy so Iâll wait a bit longer. At 7pm I tried calling again, still no answer so I called customer service and they two are useless as all they wanted to do was transfer my call to the store which I explained they were not answering. So next as upset as I was getting I decided to drive to the store to see what was going on. I paid an additional $18 for delivery and now Iâm picking up my own order. When I got to the store both the staff and manager was completely incompetent and have no clue what customer service is. Right away they began giving me excuses. My order wasnât even started because their delivery driver apparently called in and they had nobody to deliver the order. Even though they had my phone number from the online order they didnât think maybe they should call and let me know, or even answer their phone when someone is calling as it may just be a customer wanting to know where there order is. No they just thought they would charge me for my order and hope I show up. Now that I was at the store they told me it would be another 25 minutes for them to get my order. Fast food they say, what a joke. Anyway I waited. When I finally got my food, I inquired what they were going to do for me as now it going on 8pm, Iâve missed part of the Super Bowl game, my family was wondering what was taking me so long and I had to pay a delivery charge for food I had to pick up. The manager looked at me and said what do you want and I quote âyou got your food, didnât youâ. I was now very angry and told him I expected him to refund my order ($85.00) for everything I had to go through to get it and I didnât feel I should have to pay for their poor service. He told my no canât do that and was very rude. I then told him I also worked in the hospitality industry at one time and if I messed up a customers order so bad Iâd never expect them to pay and that he and his staff had no idea what customer service is. So next I called KFCâs corporate customer service number. They ended up talking to the manger on my cell phone and the issue was supposed to have been resolved, I was going to receive a full refund. Well itâs been almost a week now and still no refund and when I reached back out to the corporate customer service team again Iâm now just getting the run around from them. So anyways the moral to this story is that KFC thinks they beat me because they got my $85 bucks and I was my own delivery driver, but no Iâm hoping many individuals read this and at the end of the day it helps to put that store out of business as they donât deserve to be in business as all they care about is ripping customers off.

The staff are lazy and rude, always out of chicken, serve rotten lettuce on their vegetarian sandwich and close the dining room 30-60 minutes earlier than their advertised closing hours (which is illegal), all this because they lack a Canadian work ethic and only care about going home earlier. The staff also don't wash their hands after handling money and then touching your food (there are often only 1 or two people working there) - which is a major health concern. They behave as though they're living and working in a decrepit slum in the worst part of India. The sooner new people are brought in and the place is cleaned from top to bottom, the better. An inspection of this location is needed by both the corporate Yum brands head office, and by Health Canada. If I had the time I would sue them. We had to go to the next KFC up Tecumseh road to place the rest of our order because we lost total confidence in this place. We encountered another person there who was also placing an order at this Tecumseh location because they too lost confidence in ordering at the Amy Croft location for the exact same reasons. When people leave one location in the middle of an order and have to go to the next closest location, then you know you have a major problem with customer service, work ethics, and personal cleanliness.    Read moreWe decided to go through the drive through...because there was only 1 car ahead of us. I proceeded to order a festive feast bucket of chicken and instead of asking what salads we would like with that... she blurted out .."It's going to be a 17 min wait... ahh...ok..well we are in the drive through so we don't much have a choice I guess I thought yo myself. We said ok we will wait and she rudely said..ok then... and that was it. I pulled our car up to the window and we sat and waited close to 10 more minutes with not even a look our way...The drive through window was open the whole time as we waited patiently. After another 5 minutes a guy came to the window...no apology again btw...to take our money. I asked him ...don't you want to know what salads and sauces I want with our $39 bucket? Oh sure he said...then he finally asked us to pull through to wait more, which I would of thought they would have done at the beginning, as a customer behind us put her car in reverse and left. 20 plus minutes later my husband went in to get our bucket and he didn't even remember what sauce I ordered. This was 5:30 in the afternoon, dinner time...chicken should be cooking ...waiting 20 plus minutes is a little crazy.
