LOCAL Pizza — Restaurant in Langford

Absolutely unreal pizza. I’m visiting family from Seattle, and they told me I had to try Local Pizza because it’s where everyone here goes. And wow… they weren’t kidding. This is hands-down some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. No joke.

The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The cheese was real, melty, and rich, and the sauce tasted fresh and full of flavor. Every bite had that homemade, authentic feel you can’t fake. You can tell the people here care about what they serve.

The service was amazing too. The owners were there when we came in, and they greeted us with a smile, took our order, and even brought our food to the table. They made us feel like family. Friendly, fast, and just good vibes all around.

Now the prices? Insane deals. • One slice and a soda for only $4.75. • Two slices and a soda for just $7.45. • Three slices and a soda for $10.47. And here’s the kicker… if you order any pizza from their Local Pizza menu, you can add chicken wings for just $3.99. And those wings? Crispy outside, juicy inside, seasoned perfectly.

Oh my goodness.. this pizza was so damn delicious. I was just casually like “oh hmm I’m hungry for pizza there’s that place down the road” and I went there. I was like “hmm it probably won’t be that good, I’ve never been because usually I just go to chain restaurants that I’m used to” but I decided to try anyway. The pizza was AMAZING. FANTASMAL. FANTASTICO. SCRUMPTIOUS. WONDROUS. Unlike SOME RESTAURANTS… the pepperoni covered the whole pizza!!! They didn’t just give me like, 3!! You KNOW the pizza is good and cooked well when the pepperonis form little bowls, and they DID!! The cheese and sauce was a perfect ratio and delicious pepperoni on top… very good. I’m never going anywhere else ever again. Amazing. Perfect. Reasonable pricing. And the customer service? I HATE social interaction and the guy barely talked to me, but he was still nice!! I had an unpleasant experience at Local Pizza Langford that left me questioning the hygiene and quality standards of the establishment. I visited in the evening and ordered three choco lava cakes. While waiting for my order, I noticed that one of the staff members baking pizzas was not wearing gloves. This person made at least seven or eight pizzas without gloves, using bare hands to add toppings directly onto the dough.

When my order was ready, I received four brownies instead of the three choco lava cakes I had ordered. It seemed like they just gave what was available When we tried the brownies and the lava cake, they tasted overwhelmingly of onions—clearly, they had been stored or handled improperly. The taste was awful and completely ruined the dessert experience.

This visit was incredibly disappointing, and the lack of basic hygiene and care was unacceptable. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves both food quality and staff...
