We were sitting around in our living room and someone brought up mac n cheese from boston pizza. I soon became fully erect knowing that this is what I wanted. We got to boston pizza and we got the closest booth possible which was very convenient for us. We didn't have to have the awkward fear of getting lost and walking in the wrong directions in our stay.
I didn't see mac and cheese on the menu, so I asked the waitress if they still had the mac and cheese and apparently they just got rid of it. My jaw dropped and i had to tell the waitress that id let the others order first. I had to quickly let go of my feelings and regroup and order the next best thing which was some kind of gouda ravioli pasta which was on point not gonna lie. The other 3 with me got wings unfortunately but it was thier choice.
We had a baby with us which means we got 2 kids books full of activities like connect the dots, mazes, colouring and other great stuff. I took my opportunity to use the book to entertain myself which was the best idea Ive had ever. That was the highlight of my visit hands down. We asked for an extra water and the waitress jokingly said no which we all thought was hilarious and didnt get offended even though its 2023.
Halfway though our meal the waitress brought out to-go boxes as she didn't think we would finish our meals. 3 of us didnt but our one friend chris followed through and overpowered us with his greater masculinity and finished his meal which was 2 pounds of wings.
The waitress offered me a bag to put my leftover garlic bread in to take home. She eventually forgot but it was ok becsuse I put it into my to-go box anyways like a sane person. They had a diaper station in the bathroom which was nice and helped us to do what we had to do with the baby.
Overall great experience, good food. Good people. Didn't have to wait too long for the food and had a high baby chair for the baby. Im gonna have to say 4stars only because they didn't have the mac and cheese but itl be back then I can leave a better review...
Read moreAm absolutely appalled by this locations choice in staff.
Had a terrible experience with a waitress named Paulina. My dad took our family friend out for drinks, this family friend is handicapped and is on prosthetic legs. I also want to add that my father is a person of colour. We parked in the handicap spot, and was sure to make sure the the parking slip was easily seen. After 2 drinks each she asked how we we getting home. Daughter said mom, I said my wife was driving (same driver, still we had a ride regardless.) She then implied we were lying and very rudely cut us off and refused to serve us. We also asked if it was okay to leave our vehicle parked in the disabled spot as long as we picked it up in the morning. This waitress gives us a lecture on how other people might need it more. TO THE GUY WITH NO LEGS.
Also, at this location there are multiple handicapped spots.
All of this happened about 45 minutes before closing time. She then gave us our receipts and slammed them down in front of us and scoffed at us. When my dad said he was paying for all of us, she gave him attitude and was raising her voice at him and scoffing and was insanely rude.
I was in disbelief as a guy named Samir waved goodbye mockingly to us through the window as we walked to our ride with my buddy who has no legs. I've never felt so disrespected and taunted at the same time. Never going back. I'm disgusted by your staff selection.
Overall this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I am appalled and and find this behavior disgusting. This type of "service" is unacceptable.
EDIT: someone a bit higher up the food chain had contacted me regarding this review, and said they would update me on the "investigation" and never did. As well as after my review was left, a bunch of bot reviews were put in place as well. Very dismayed by lack of professionalism from...
Read moreI don't often bother with reviewing anything about bigger companies. They are usually well known enough that the general public know about them. I specifically want to talk about tonight.
We arrived and were seated as soon as the hostess sanitized a table. Then we waited for a server. About 10 minutes later someone finally came and took our drink order. They arrived with drinks and took our order, an app, 2 adult entrees and a kids meal. Eventually someone brought over the adult entrees, set them down, told us to enjoy our meal and left, leaving my kid confused. I told her to give it a few minutes as you can only carry so much at once. After waiting about 5 minutes I finally flagged down a different waitress as I couldn't find ours. She apologized and went to investigate. She returned and told us our server didn't punch in the kids meal. She told us it was on rush and that she was going to serve us now.
That upper part of the review is for context. I'm not leaving a review to complain. Our new waitress name tag said Laurie and she was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, apologetic and went out of her way to make up for the issue. She compensated us over the mistake, which was not required but very nice. I understand mistakes happen, and I'm the kind of person that is happy as long as they are corrected but she went the extra mile.
I've given the location a 4 star because I've been in a few times and they could probably use some tweaks to their operational logistics, but I'm leaving the review to commend Laurie on her excellent service.
The hospitality industry is one of the easiest to enter. You often don't even need a resume. There's a clear difference between the people who do the job because they need work and those who enjoy being I'm...
