A&W Canada — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Food is fine same as all A&Ws but I cannot leave a merely positive review after what I've seen. Yesterday I went and a deaf couple ordered coffees. Then the cashier who hadnt served them, got their coffees and started yelling and getting angry that they didn't hear their drinks were ready. Absolutely impatient and not understanding, they were speaking sign language right in front of her and she was yelling at them. She then had the guts to look at me and laugh as if to say that she was in the right. Absolutely insane. I also had another occurrence with this restaurant. I went in talking on the phone about what my friend wanted. The lady working the cash over heard and instantly started putting in the order, but it wasn't right at all, she was listening to my conversation and getting the wrong info, ALL WHILE I wASN'T EVEN AT THE CASH REGISTER. She just eaves dropped all I was saying for no reason. They're always rude and blunt and mess up orders. And I never see a manager or anything of the sort. My girlfriend and I were both visiting Laval from out of town.

We attended the Jelly Roll concert at Place Bell on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, and were looking to eat somewhere after the concert.

William was the cashier who initially took our order. His shift was over before our order was served to us. William was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I don't speak French and William spoke English to me, which made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

Mohammad was the gentleman who served us our food once it was ready.

Based on both William's and Mohammad's demeanor and our interactions with them, it was clear to us that they both take great pride in working at A&W.

The establishment was very clean considering the location is open 24 hours.

Our food was very hot 🔥 upon arrival and tasted delicious! It was one of the best meals I've ever eaten at a fast food restaurant. I was very satisfied with the overall quality of the food.

I barely go to fast food restaurants, but whenever I do I usually go to A&W because of how good the food is. Today the service was horrible, initially I ordered two chubby burger combo and a poutine and instead I get 3 beef sandwich combo, and I went through without looking at the order. I get the smell of beef while I'm driving away and check in my bag and I have received the wrong order so I go back and wait in the long line again, and I told the situation to the employee and she gave me the correct order and let me keep the wrong order (which I gave it away to an individual sitting alone because I was going to throw it away anyways), I only check from above this time, and I see the chubby burgers so in my mind I say to myself "okay I got the right order this time". So I head back home open the bag and the poutine is missing. I'm not going to disclose the timing or the individual, but please give your employees better training, and I got a lesson that I should always check no matter...
