Amir — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I would have to agree with WM's comment I go to Amir in Lachine quite frequently, I thought there was a change but I didn't give it too much of a second thought until today. The cashier is new at least to me. During these hard times she has forgotten basic hygiene rule, she did not sanitize her hands or wash them. I had ordered a Shish Taouk plate, so I admit I did not pay too close attention, then after I had asked for a sandwich. She handled the pita without gloves and she had a manicure. Normally I would have caused a scene because that's that's nasty but I decided that I was going to be calm and just continue to watch her. When my order was complete by her colleague who wasn't wearing gloves either but they never have, but I've always seen them wash their hands. I decided to tell her that this is still Covid times and regardless when you handle food especially when you have on a manicure you're supposed to wear gloves because I saw her picking off her nail polish after I had pay cash for my order. She said thank you and that she was peeling the nail because she had chipped it. I said to her that is my point, don't do it again. Before leaving the restaurant I watched her to see what she would do when she served the other customer she did not sanitize her hands or washed the. and proceeded to serve the next person. Very disappointed. She has ruined Lachine Amir for me. And I wasted my money on the sandwich because I through it out but that's on me for trying to be kind...

I had the pleasure of dining at Amir, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food? Absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The spices were perfectly balanced, and it’s clear that they use only the freshest ingredients.

What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from Ralph. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made choosing our dishes so much easier. Ralph’s recommendations were spot on, and he made sure that every need was met throughout our meal.

I've been going to Amir Le Courboisier for a few years now. My family and I absolutely love it there. One of the many reasons why we keep coming back is because the service is impeccable. Every time I walk in, I am kindly greeted and served quickly. They always want to ensure I am satisfied with what I order and you can tell that they genuinely want you to enjoy the food they have prepared.
