Coco Frutti Chomedey — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

This is a very decent breakfast place. We went here on a Sunday around 1pm. The place was not busy at all. This place is pretty big and spacious. And there's like a three in the middle which gives the place life. Loved it .

Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Although she was abit forgetful but that was okay.

The food was good but not a 4 star good. The crepe was really good, loved that. The smoked meat Benedict had way to much onions in it. I would have probably asked without onions if I had known there was that much, also the bacon had a weird taste.

The portion of each plate was pretty big and pretty much enjoyable.

The potatoes were really good. I love the one with hollandaise sauce and cheese.....but the one with the caramelized onions was abitt too oniony.

My girlfriend and I love coming to Coco Chomesy. The staff are super great, especially Nancy who is really nice. The food is delicious and a very good value. The atmosphere is not too loud and the nature insipred decorations bring a nice and green atmosphere to the place.

Note: There was recently a change where "shovels" were introduced with the breakfast food. This is a bad idea. They are heavy and very inconvenient ti eat in. I imagine if this gets dropped on someone it could hurt them. It doesn't even fit with the aesthetic of the place. I had to ask for a replacement plate because of how ridiculous it is. We drove 30 minutes to this breakfast place twice in the hopes of showing our kids the robot. Both times we were told the robots were unavailable. Once the waitress literally said that slows me down so I don't use them, and another time she said they were charging even the one I walked by they were almost fully charged.

On top of it our food was very cold and she had to go back and microwave beans, and they were missing items from my kids plates. By the time we waited for them to return with everything, all the food was cold. Very disappointing all around considering how much we...
