Lindt Chocolate Shop - Carrefour Laval — Local services in Laval (administrative region)

I went there before christmas so it was packed with people getting presents. Most of them bought the PickNmix bundles as they offer best value for money. Pretty much every single customer who was in the line before me had to pay extra because the weight of their bag apparently indicated that it was heavier than the bundle they chose.

Every single client was told that they had 3-4 truffles too many according to the weight, and so, had to either leave them or pay for them individually. Most of them seemed to feel pressured into buying them instead of forcing the employee to go put them back in a store packed with people waiting to pay.

We counted ours twice to make sure we had the right count, and we were told exactly the same. If every customer's bag busting the weight limit, perhaps you should review your pricing, cause it's misleading.

My experience made me feel as though I was trying to steal and we counted them twice, so we had the same amount as the quantity we had chosen(75). I should have challenged the cashier to count them or I'd leave the whole bag, but I bet they have a panel somewhere displaying their policy in small prints stating that weight déterminés the amount of truffles you'll end up with, which is what should be advertised on the picknmix...

Update on the soft served Chocolate ice-cream: unfortunately very disappointed. It has changed since season 2023. Now, it's barely creamy and slightly 'icy'. The chocolate flavour is really tepid at best!!! Here were my comments from last year (also 2023): As it is only my second time, it certainly won't be my last. Not only are the goodies offered very tasty, the girls working there have been so pleasant which is somewhat rare lately. I just don't understand why we are not able to give them a tip when electronically paying? I visited on boxing day, the shop owner was very rude, i asked about their so called promotion, he said it is written there, even didnt bother himself to tell me about, the prices were rediculous, 1 small round chocolate was .99 cent!!, when i was paying for my selected bag, he saw a chocolate taken by my 2 year, he said, do you leave it or pay?? i said you normally give them as samples, is it that important? he said i dont have time for...
