Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Old Manager and staff left by the end of summer, an employee informed me.

I noticed immediately as the vibe seemed totally different, fried beans paste was liquid, chipotle tofu liquid sauce as well and ran out of pickled red onions.

The older staff seemed happy, content and always in a good mood.

The new staff seems more neutral and less passionate about serving.

The food is also bland, I came second time and the rice is too dry and tofu lacks flavor.

Basically I now come here just to feed myself but it leaves wanting more since the taste isn't like before.

Sad as this used to be my favorite and best branch of all Quesada I've tried in...

Young staff that dont care. A lot of the toppings are extra charge. That being said, they are extremely cheap with the toppings that you pay extra for, employee put a tiny, almost invisible lick of guacamole on the tacos and it's after the fact that I found out that the guacamole never comes free with the tacos. Three very regular sized tacos that were just under 11$ on the menu turned out to be just under 20$. If you like anything other than lettuce and tomatoes in your food then go elsewhere because the toppings alone will almost double your bill and you wont even notice they are...

Delicious like always!! They raised their prices but it's still reasonable!

Update : I went today and I had to write something about Matthew (manager I think). I asked to see a certificate for that new "halal" chicken they have on the menu. He couldn't bring it to me but he took the time to show me the box the chicken get delivered in. So I didn't take the chicken because I wasn't sure it really was but he really showed that he cared (changing gloves/ knife/... to be sure nothing non-halal was in contact with my food) and that's all I ask as a client....
