My worst experience at Tim Hortons.
I made an order for a small ice cap, a large green tea, and two hash browns. I was heading to work so I was in a rush.
They forgot about my order for 15 minutes. Whenever they finally saw me standing there for a long time, the employe asked me what my order was. When I told her, she said “oh yeah yeah, it’s coming” as if they didn’t forget.
After she gave me my tea, she said “thank you” and walked away. I had to remind her that I also had a small ice cap. She looked confused, went to go ask and came back to me ready to charge me again because she claimed the cashier did not charge me for my ice cap.
She then asked me for my receipt. I read it to her while showing it to her. She came back finally with my ice cap. It was so rudely made that the cap was full of brown fluid. She saw me cleaning the top of the lid so she asked me if I wanted a new cap which I accepted.
Afterwards, when I finally reached my job. I realized she did not even give me the right tea even after I read her the receipt. She gave me a chai tea instead of a green tea.
The whole experience was awful, I received zero apologies, zero compensation. Absolutely nothing. Worst of all they made me feel like I was lying about my order when from the beginning they knew they...
Read moreTried this Tim Hortons several times over the last couple of weeks as I happen to be in the area so my review is not based on one single visit. Each time the experience was the same.... For whatever reason the employees can barely understand when you are ordering at the intercoms and completely misunderstand simple items (I am fluent in both languages). Then you get to the window and although the food is prepared quickly there are 2 issues: 1. Each time I ordered food I had to ask for napkins because they are never provided (even when ordering sandwiches) and 2, the food is always lukewarm. I am certain that because this location is so busy certain items like the breakfast sandwiches (Tim matins for example) are pre-made. There is no way they can prepare several orders in the 15 seconds it takes to get from the intercom to the window and each time the items are cold (or lukewarm at best). I get it's a busy location but if I'm paying to get cold food then there's no point as there are plenty of other options. Maybe take an extra 30 seconds and ensure items are at least somewhat warm, even the coffee is...
Read moreOriginally I wanted to give this three stars after many problems since I really hate giving bad reviews, but this Tim Horton's is the gift that keeps on giving in regards to mistakes and food quality. Every second or third time I go, there is an issue.
The last time I went, I ordered a cream cheese and butter sesame bagel extra toasted, but got nature bagel with no cream cheese that was almost raw. I asked for a beef sandwhich with only bun, meat, and cheese (no sauce or anything), and I got it with sauce. Asked for a tea with 1 cream 3 sugars, came back white as snow and with suspicious orange flakes in it (very unlikely from the tea bag). When we went in to fix it, they seemed to have possibly just scraped of the sauce from the sandwhich (still tasted it) and added the cream cheese to my now very cold bagel.
I understand working fast food sucks and mistakes happen, so I'm not trashing the workers, but the mistakes are way too often with this one and the service just isn't on the same page as it as with other Timmies. I'll update to a better review if I notice the...
