Notre-Boeuf-de-Grâce — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Dined here on Saturday January 25th, we were a group of 5 and unfortunately the overall service and food was disappointing.

We were actually here two weeks prior and had a great experience. The burgers were delicious, super fresh and juicy, but now it was like a complete 180 switch.

Our group all ordered burgers which contained inaccurate or missing ingredients. For example there was little to no sauce and no maple syrup on the Drunken Elvis. When we sent it back, our server returned with more sauce, but there was still missing syrup. The french fries were stale tasting, like they were left out for too long, or just overcooked. Our server never offered to bring back more fries after we voiced our concern. I also noticed that no one at our table, or in the restaurant it seems, received pickles with their meal even though it is clearly indicated on the menu. Our waiter had attitude once we requested these as well.

We tried speaking to the manager, possibly owner? An older man, working close to the kitchen area and he just dismissed us, told us to deal with our waiter. Later on, another server came around to ask us if everything was OK, we said no, but no one ever apologized or offered us anything to make it better.

When you're paying upwards of $20-$25 for sloppy burgers and old fries, this is unacceptable.

I contacted Notre Boeuf on Facebook and they did offer me a rebate to come at another location and said they would follow up with that location, so I'm glad at least they took my concerns more seriously. Here's to hoping this was just one...

A very deceiving experience in the restaurant I frequent the most. Entering the restaurant, the waitress recognized me and my family because a week ago we gave a tip that was not sufficient for her, since she spent most of her time on the phone. She went on talking about and pointing us to staff of the restaurant, including the cook and the manager which looked at us in the most obvious way making us feeling very uncomfortable. The waitress served us but the manager was the one handing us the bill. When we let him know about how uncomfortable we felt, he agreed that the waitress was avoiding us which is very unprofessional from both the side of the manager and that of the waitress. The manager made sure we know that we are not forced to offer tip, while Insisting on the ethics of giving from 15 to 20% in tip. He also insisted on how the waitress will pay 15% of our bill from her pocket, meaning that she practically loses money off her pocket if we do not give any tip at all (not true according to the official government page). The manager also told us that he cannot manage the attitude that the waitress had and that we felt that way because of the psychological pressure that the waitress put on us. This restaurant lost a very loyal customer. I would give 0 stars to this restaurant, but the system does...

Burgers are between 15$-22$ NOTHING included. You have to add fries, drinks.... it’s so overpriced. I rather go to Madison’s or another burger place for the price and quality of this restaurant.

Went with my boyfriend to try it out. They didn’t have air conditioning, bright sun on the windows, their window blinds were already broken (it’s a new location...) 30°C outside... so we had all the sun on us. We ordered the food, I wanted a burger with cheese so I ordered the “Cheese Us” and it said it came with “cheese buns” so I’m expecting to have bread with dried cheese on top as a regular hamburger bun... turns out it was a grilled cheese bun on top of more cheese with cheese falling from all the sides... I tried to eat it but I was grossed out by the 3rd bite. You can’t eat that. Server came to see if everything was okay. And I let him know I can’t eat this. I was trying to remove all the extra cheese falling everywhere... all he says is “I feel bad for you “ yeah.... ok....? So I couldn’t eat my meal...

At this time the restaurant was almost full, there were only 2 servers in the whole floor.... the rest were all bus boys/ girls.... errr what? I had to wait almost 20 minutes to get my bill to leave.... long story short, this place was overpriced, service was ordinary, sorry but wont be...
