Food was alright, though I found that the pizza crust was very dry, almost overcooked and probably sat in the fridge for too long, was very dense, no air bubbles in there… Polpettes were very moist and tasty, but the sauce tasted very « can » like (although it looked and tasted homemade). Calamari was cut too thick, overcooked and very chewy and the thick breading was falling apart and very oily! Pasta was a bit overcooked, not quite aldente.
Overall, the food was « all right »… but…. The service was awful! The lady was so nice, and very caring. But her inexperience was painful to witness! She could only serve two plates at a time, for a party of eight it took about 45 minutes from the first to the last plate served. When I asked for parmesan, she brought me a shaker compacted with cheap parm stuck in a puck. No pepper, no bread (at one point we asked and she brought some cause the kids were going crazy), no tablecloth, messy table never picked up….
Three of the plates ordered were wrong and she didn’t check on us after serving the food!
Oh, and the pasta was literally swimming in that runny canned tomato tasting sauce….
Long story short, we ended up eating coldish food cause we waited for each other’s plates to come in, the lack of parm was a real bummer, service was very inexperienced, but the server was so nice and pricing very fair!
Wouldn’t go back, but I wouldn’t say don’t go, if you’re going for a quick lunch, it could be ok, but don’t expect to impress a date there, it feels more like a bus terminal restaurant...
Read moreI've tried this place a few times over the years .. it was pretty good but it seems the quality just gets worse over time. Yesterday I ordered 2 Margherita pizzas and the pizza came out slightly burnt and dry. Traditional Margherita is supposed to at least have some basil but their version doesn't have it, so essentially it was just a glorified cheese pizza! The pizza crust tastes like cardboard...
Sorry to say, but for the same price you are better off just ordering Papa John's pizza with thin crust.
For a supposedly specializes in "Neapolitan pizza" restaurant that overcooked the crust, it is really disappointing. This is the last time I order from this place. 3 strikes and...
Read morePretty good pizza but you really have to use better quality pepperoni. The sauce, cheese and the crust were all very good, but the pepperoni almost ruins the whole pizza. This pizza can definitely be one of the best in the area, but not with the cold cut style pepperoni. I may try another style pizza without pepperoni but I really hope they change this for a higher quality. Anyone who knows pizza will know what I'm...
