Rôtisserie Coq-O-Bec + Pizza — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I used to love this place, i would order at least 1-2 times a week. I started noticing a decline in their quality of the food. I decided to order online instead of my regular phone order, just to try out their online system, What a big mistake!!!!!!!

I order a grilled chicken Cesar wrap at 18:05 i received a confirmation number advising me the order was processed. At 19:00 i decided to call and make sure that my order was well received and on its way. The owner who's always the one answering the phone, advises me are having problems with the online service and that he declined my order in the system in order to reboot his system. He even told me what i ordered, my name and adresse but never thought of sending through the order or even calling me back to explain the problem.

At this point i ask him how long for my order to arrive? he advises me 30-45 minutes. At this point I'm starving and say ok. Once my order arrived the bag felt very light, i open up the container to realize there's no french fries at all, only a wrap, at this point it's 19:55. For me that was the cherry on the Sunday and i was really irritated.

I call back and speak with the owner who offered to send me the fries, but it would have taken 45 minutes again. I ask for another solutions, trying to hint that i wanted a free wrap next time given the 2 mistakes. He offers me 20%, i worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years and told the owner that if this happened to me i would offer a free wrap in order to keep the customer, considering it was a 15$ order. He didn't seem to care at all. I was so irritated that i told him to forget about the 20% rebate that amounts to 3$ on a 15$ order and will never order from that...

Have been ordering pizza at Coq au bec for a few years now. Used to be the best pizza. Last few times terrible. Keep giving chances, but at $57 for 2 pizzas and then receiving 2 almost burnt, dried pizzas with arm hair, I am done. Sorry, I tried. Gave them multiple chances but now will find new place for my pizza. If I was a restaurant cook and I pulled 2 burnt pizzas out of the oven I would never serve them to my customers. Bad business practice. Better to make another pizza than to lose a customer. The pizza I just received was the worst. So disappointed. Stick to chicken I guess. This Place Is AMAZING !! It Doesnt Look Like Much From The Outside , Like A Regular Chicken Place BUT FAR FROM IT ! We Started With The Cheese Sticks. So Cheesy And Not Full Of Flour Was Very Impressed. The Ribs Are So Tender And The Sauce Is Soooooo Good. Poutine Had So Much Cheese, You Would Think They Emptied The Bag On The Plate. The Chicken Just Fell Apart! The Chocolate Mousse Cake Was Sooooooooooo Smooth !! The Waitress Was Super Nice And Knew What She Was Doing. Very Knowledgeable. Would Definitely Recommend.
