The service deserves zero stars, specifically for the hot tempered rude server in the afternoon of September 2.

The food was good when we tried it out on September 1st dinner I will give it that, however, you better not be reordering because they are lazy to bring you things a second time around apparently and will rudely tell you off. We had ordered a cold spring roll for myself(wasn’t feeling very hungry) and my husband ordered a dish for himself. I ate the spring roll and hubby ended up having some of mine so I decided to order another one. Then we ordered a dessert to share, it was a bean dessert and we weren’t sure if we would like it but we tried it and ended up liking it so we ordered another one. That was it.

Not once did they communicate that they’d prefer a one time order only, and nor was it busy that night. We were completely oblivious that it was an issue. If they told us nicely, we would have known. We tipped them over 15% for service for the dinner and came back the next day (Sept 2) for lunch.

This time around for lunch, there was a guy (not the same woman who served us the night before). We sat down and ordered two cold spring rolls and a Vietnamese coffee we wanted to try. Immediately the guy rudely tells us with his finger pointing at us saying “if you want anything, then order everything now! Not order one and then another!” My husband politely asked if there was a reason why, he thought that maybe the kitchen was closing. The guy again pointed his finger started rudely scolding us saying “yesterday you came, and ordered once and then ordering again and again!” At this point, he had annoyed me. I am a paying customer who was respectful, and I tipped you guys for the service. Not once this was communicated reordering is an issue. We were respectful when ordering each time, and if anything, I have worked in the restaurant industry, that’s adding to the bill, increasing the amount to be tipped on. This would definitely not be how you’d expect anyone to react! It was completely uncalled for and extremely rude. Don’t run a business if you are lazy to walk that stretch in your own restaurant a second time.

Alright, first let's talk about beef skewer grill experience - it's legit. The beef they use is top-notch, none of that chewy stuff you sometimes get elsewhere. Each skewer is packed with flavor, and they've got that grilling technique down to a science - just the right amount of char without overdoing it. The aroma alone gets you drooling before it even hits the table. I gotta give props to the staff who suggested pairing this beef skewer grill with Vietnamese-style coffee – genius move. Let me tell you, they complement each other like a dream, enhancing the flavors of both the beef and the coffee. The rich, bold aroma of the coffee just heightens the experience, while still letting the distinct flavors of the skewers shine through. Honestly, I'm kicking myself for not being able to rate this place more than 5 stars. It's a match made in foodie heaven, and I'll definitely be spreading the word! And I just gotta give a shoutout to this place for their bomb grilled chicken rice dish. Seriously, it's the real deal. The rice? Perfectly cooked, none of that mushy nonsense, just fluffy goodness. And the chicken? Packed with flavor, juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Man, it's addictive. Plus, they don't skimp on the sides - fresh veggies and this killer sauce that ties everything together. And the service? A+. The staff is friendly, no attitude, just good Viet vibes. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO ACT!!!

I’m completely done with I Am Pho in Laval. The servers are rude, arrogant, and shockingly unprofessional. THEY DONT DESERVE THE TIPS WE’VE BEEN GIVING THEM!! Every single time we eat here, they get our order wrong and no matter how clearly you explain, they still can’t understand simple English.

Last night was beyond unacceptable. Our server gave us the wrong food and kept insisting it was ours. While we tried to clarify, another server wearing a PINK LONG SOCKS, who was serving a different table, rolled her eyes and sighed at us like we were the problem. Seriously?! You make the mistake and then act annoyed at the customer? That’s disgraceful!!

This kind of service ruins the whole experience. I’m furious, disappointed, and WARNING EVERYONE DO NOT eat here until management takes action. Rude, careless staff like this will drive customers away and they deserve to be called out. Never coming back, and I hope the management finally does...
