Grillade kababgy — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

My husband and I ordered beef skewer Kabab. Tender chunks of succulent beef, marinated with a blend of spices, each skewer was grilled to juicy perfection, charred exterior that added smokiness to the ensemble.

As for the side dish, a well-seasoned salad side that served as the perfect complement to the Savory Kababs. Crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and crunchy cucumbers tossed in a tangy vinaigrette elevated the entire dish. We appreciate the generous amount of garlic sauce and hummus, providing a refreshing balance to the rich flavors of the kababs.

We also ordered coffee, the guy served us some freshly brewed ones despite it already late afternoon. We asked for refills which is free btw. He even served the refills in fresh cups!

Overall, I really liked this place. The location is fantastic and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant atmosphere.

However, the food was unfortunately a major letdown. For a place that presents itself as a restaurant, the quality of the food is critical, and it just didn’t meet even basic expectations.

It’s disappointing because with such a great setting and team, this could be an excellent spot — but the poor food really overshadows everything else.

I tried the poutine: too salty, undercooked and stale potatoes. Cheese tasted off too. Don’t even try!
