Last night I had the pleasure of trying Shawarma Moods in Laval, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Having previously heard about the place during my time in Montreal, I finally got the chance to indulge in its offerings, and I was not disappointed.
What stood out the most for me were the shawarma sandwiches served on what we refer to as "Saj Bread" in Lebanon. I opted for one chicken and one beef sandwich, and the flavors were nothing short of amazing. The authenticity of the taste transported me back to the streets of Beirut, making it a nostalgic and delightful culinary journey.
The beef shawarma, in particular, stole the show for me. The succulent and well-seasoned meat and the freshness of the accompanying vegetables created a harmonious blend of flavors that left my taste buds craving more. Even the chicken shawarma, though not my favorite, was still delicious and had distinct appeal.
Apart from the mouthwatering dishes, the service at Shawarma Moods was commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure a positive dining experience. The cleanliness of the establishment added to the overall pleasant ambiance, making it a comfortable space to enjoy a meal.
Shawarma Moods is a must-visit for anyone in Laval with a shawarma craving. The authenticity of the flavors, coupled with the excellent service and inviting atmosphere, make it a standout choice. I highly recommend trying the beef shawarma for an exceptional culinary delight. Don't miss out on this hidden gem if you're in the area – your taste buds...

Read moreAfter restaurant Joseph in Lebanon, Shawarma Moods is the best shawarma I’ve had in my life. The famous “Sal” plate, which consists of chicken, beef, more rice than potato, and either fattouch or regular salad, along with extra garlic and a bit of hummus, but with either $2-$3 extra chicken on the side, and 200-300 grams of sojouk, all topped with house made spicy sauce and tahini on the beef, is the best shawarma and a smorgasbord of a feast. Chicken poutine is fantastic along with their famous Saj. The portions are massive, the food is absolutely delicious and always fresh thanks to their high popular demand/turnover.
Definitely a family favourite and our entire family’s favourite shawarma restaurant. My late grandfather, who recently passed away, would have picky taste when it came to shawarma, but would only eat at shawarma moods during his final 2 years. ❤️
Thank you Shawarma Moods for truly being the best Shawarma joint in...
