Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lethbridge

Came to get something to eat here April 16 2025 at 10:48 pm soon as I walked in I got glared at by this young Asian girl in glasses then immediately her and another Asian worker here began to talk in their language all while she kept looking at me really mean like, then she bagan to serve me and when I began to ask for what I wanted she kept interrupting me saying she can't hear me it was really uncomfortable I didn't feel welcome at all in this establishment after I got my order and I paid I proceeded to go fill my drinks and she immediately came out and watched me poor my drink after I went to sit down and she began to slam the cupboards underneath the fountain drink station and acted like she was busy cleaning but kept her eye on me. I find this just another establishment that partakes in the hatred of indigenous people I had trouble with other workers at another time but that time I was with my daughter. I now forbid my child to go into certain establishment due to the stupidity we face daily in this city. So me and my friends we’re pretty much a regular customers at this specific branch; we ordered the same as always extreme fudge brownie blizzard and turtle, unfortunately this time it wasn’t right. I called them when we arrived at home because we didn’t notice it immediately. And said what was wrong the guy who talked to me over the phone was “sorry” and asked if I have the receipt, so I said no we put them in the garbage bin as soon as we got our orders because we trusted them that they’re going to make it right, right? WRONG!!!!! So the guy asked me if I can come back so they can replace it, I said I can but not tonight maybe Sunday? He said “oh we might forget about it already because you ordered tonight, and we need the receipt.” Like what the heck?! I even told him we know someone working there. He just said “oh I’m so sorry we need the receipt.” Like hello check the camera if i am lying! I also took a photo of it. And it doesn’t even look like what chocolate brownie fudge extreme look like! And that’s why it’s melted because we took it...

My son and I went here and I ordered a moolate and he had this slushy icecream thing. The moolate is normally one of my favourites, but it tasted very odd tonight after one sip. Not sure if the machine hasn’t been cleaned properly or what was the issue. Also note that I hate the paper straws they get soggy with any sort of milkshake, pop etc. Anyways I turned around and said these need to be returned. As we waited I explained that we were disappointed with the quality to the employee… I hear in the background take down his name and number so he doesn’t try this again… I was extremely insulted! And not that it matters but I’m driving a $70,000 suv and do extremely well for myself.
