Fusion BBQ Hotpot & Sushi All You Can Eat — Restaurant in Lethbridge

First time we went was all the way back in October 2022 it was super good, we went again maybe a couple months later the quality of food and service significantly decreased and the price went crazy up. My partner and I went durning the supper time which we understand is $31.99 for each person which is understandable. Tell me how the bill was over $100 for two people who finished their food? Anyways we decided to try it again this time was so much worse sure our bill wasn’t over $100 dollars but they wanted to charge us not only the lunch charge (21.99) but since we got there and sat there past 3:30 also wanted to charge the dinner price on top of that! I used to love this place when it was down town. Clean and fast friendly staff. Today (August 29th, 2024) we went for lunch at 11:10am. First the pop was carbonated water rather than pop. and then We waited nearly 45 minutes for a few items and another table that was seated after us received plates and plates of food within minutes of ordering. We ordered 2 plates of sushi, tempura shrimp, spring rolls and chicken fried rice, after an hour and all of our food still had not shown up, we decided to leave. We addressed this with the waitress who said she would charge us for one meal. Fine. Then the waitress behind her said no no you have to pay pop too. So $25.00 and all we got to eat was 1 small bowl of chicken fried rice, 2 small spring rolls, and 2 tempura shrimp. The 1 plate of sushi that did come had BROWN avocado in it and was disgusting. The owner is horrible she did not care that the food was not fresh and horrible. The mussels were not cooked. She even said that all the food comes frozen so it is not fresh. She said she didn’t care about bad reviews and did not offer any discount or care. She said I don’t care about what customers think. I am visiting from another province and this was a horrible dining experience. The place was filthy. I saw them Saran wrapping pre made sushi. The table and floors were crusty. None of this food is fresh made to order. They had mussels and shrimps out on the counter not in a fridge. I have contacted health inspections as this place is disgusting and it’s no wonder the other location shut down! I feel bad for the employees there as she is rude and yells at them.
