Got off of work and went straight to Subway to pick up dinner for the family. Showed up a good 40 minutes because close. Had to cancel a handful of sandwiches because she “already cleaned that bin for the night”. Which meant some of my family didn’t get sandwiches, only a few of them were able to choose a different sandwich but she “didn’t have enough meant for a foot long”. She packed the order like she had never packed a bag before. The bag ripped because all the weight was on one side. Drink spilled and made the sandwiches wet. So no one got to eat. Fast food chains that can afford to pay their employees to work a few minutes past closed, should make sure their employees aren’t costing them money by cleaning up 40+ minutes early. Now I have to make a second trip to the only fast food that’s open late and spend money on an order I shouldn’t have to. More customers walked in while I was leaving, I almost hung around to see how she would treat them. But thought otherwise, because I would have lost it if she made...
Read moreI had a really frustrating experience with my recent Subway delivery order. First off, the delivery took almost an hour, which is ridiculous for a simple sandwich order. There was no heads-up, no ETA update, nothing—just radio silence while I sat there waiting, getting more annoyed by the minute.
And when the food finally showed up, it was a total letdown. Everything was cold, soggy, and just straight-up unappetizing. The bread was limp, the veggies were mushy, and it looked like the sandwich had been tossed around during transit or left sitting out for way too long. Definitely not fresh, definitely not what I paid for.
This is not the kind of service I expect, especially when I’m paying extra for delivery. If this is how delivery orders are being handled, I’ll seriously think twice before ordering again. Really...
Read moreSo we decided to go to subway at around 8:30 on a Saturday as the website says they close at 9 and we walked in and the employee didn’t even greet us or make us feel welcome just kind of stared. so I asked if they were open still and he hesitated and said they close at 8:45 and I asked if we could still get served and he said yeah just give me five minutes to wipe out the unit so I ended up just leaving. I used to work at a subway about a couple months ago and I would never turn a customer away even one minute to close. This is some of the worst service I’ve ever had. You don’t need to wipe out the unit half an hour before close and put everything away when there is still half an hour and lie about when you close when even the sign outside says they close at 9. Was in a rush and now don’t have time to...
