Family Pizza & Shawerma — Restaurant in Lincoln

Loved this place. Seriously, it was my high school go to meal spot/family pizza spot. Walking distance from home, knew the owners who were incredibly friendly, always provided great value. I no longer live in Beamsville, but was driving through and wanted a nostalgia kick.

A nostalgia kick, it was not.

Price has more than doubled (inflation is real, I get it), but the value did not match the price. Wraps were stale and clearly old (they also didn't have whole wheat which I initially requested). There was not $12.83 worth of chicken and toppings in the wrap. Again, I appreciate inflation is real but I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, not a stale bread and sauce pile. Another gripe, the young man who took and prepared my order took no time to actually wrap the wrap (the audacity of me to assume my wrap would be, you know, wrapped)! With the first bite, stuff was falling out and sauce was spilling onto my shirt. I had to eat over the bag I got it in, and the bag ended up a real mess.

I guarantee the owner's left a turnkey operation. Do not complicate simple things. Terrible experience, and I probably will never be back...maybe to buy the shawarma sauce which is again a creation of...

I used to work in Beamsville and in that time I frequently used Family Pizza for lunches or to provide nourishment for assorted meetings. The food was always high quality and very tasty. Because I no longer work in Beamsville and live a far distance from the place I have not frequented this pizzeria for a long time. Last night I had occasion to visit nearby friends and I was happy to provide pizzas/wings from Family Shwarma. Everyone loved it. The taste of the pizzas remains phenomenal, the wings were cooked perfectly. It was a real treat to have food from this pizzeria again. Makes me wish I lived closer or that they would open up closer to where I live. I recommend this place highly to anyone. Kudos to them for their great offerings! Sure...

Wow! What happened?! Seems like new owners took over and have destroyed this go-to for us. The Falafel wrap used to be amazing.

Ordered it today on our way home for pickup. "10 minutes it'll be ready" Made it 20 to be sure and when I got there, nothing. Guys looked confused and grabbed my ticket out from under the counter. Didn't say anything to me just spoke to eachother quietly. Put together the WORST wraps and proceeded to charge the wrong price according to the menu. I waited 10 minutes there while buddy made the wraps they forgot about while nothing else was going on?!

This was an absolute gem in Beamsville but now will be avoided like the plague!

Go to Subway for wraps and anywhere else for pizza it...
