Barbies Resto Bar Grill — Restaurant in Longueuil

I had a very bad experience with this Restaurant and specifically the Manager there his name is Jimmy as we went me and my sister in the last Saturday July/28 around 9:00PM to eat anything specially we traveled in the same day from Toronto to Longueuil to see my dad in the hospital and it was a very long day for us. Jimmy he was The first person we met in the restaurant and just my sister asked him do you have Guys English minue (because we don’t know French ) but he speaks very well. Jimmy said no we don’t have because we are French in Longueuil! So I started to talk and I told him but we’re in CANADA , He replied rudely we are in Quebec then I found my self angry and I asked him where is the manager he said I’m the manager! Then I told him there is no difference between Canada and Quebec and I’m Canadian ! Then I told him you are racist and I gonna do a complaint. He said this is my name is Jimmy and now get out from here front all guests!!! and after he went to a group of Police officers they were sitting there and he complained to them and he thought the police they gonna give us hard time me and my sister or scary us! But they were very nice with us and one of them he said yes he should carry English minus here!!

We came this Sunday 25 August 2019 around 15h. We were 9 people 2 kids the rest all adults from 19 to 55 years old. The restaurant was almost empty. They had around 30 customer in and outside. We wanted to sit outside at the terrasse. There were customer at a table of 8 people so we thought we could do the same as them just gather table also. The supervisor told us that we could not do that. Try to understand that when the other table with 8 people did it just beside us ... Stupified, we agree to go back inside we want to be at least near the windows. He then says no you can't be there either because he wants to sweep the floor over there. We re like c'mon we are here to pay for a 30$ dish and you don't want us to get confortable. And he was condescend he didn't want to give his full Name the nametag was Karim. So he told us to leave that we are bothering his customer (an almost empty restaurant) he didn't want to accommodate us. We don't understand why. Anywhere any restaurant I want with a huge group. My first time at Barbies !

Everything was good! Took the fried calamari and they where really crispy as I ❤️ love them to be and piping hot ,it was a delicious start.

Main course The Greek style chicken 🐔 Brochette also great tasting 😋.

The service was excellent and quick . Kim provided a friendly service And good recommendations on what to order 5 star to her too! As for dessert a chocolate 🍫 mousse

Clean place and plenty of parking

Excellent second visit , great waitress with an excellent service .

Food was great ,the ribeye was well seasoned and grilled to perfection.

They have very reasonable prices !!!
