L'Œufrier (Longueuil) — Restaurant in Longueuil

It's past time I left a review for this place as me and my boyfriend are pretty much regulars now. :)

So far I've never been let down at any of L'Oeufrier's branches; this one is no exception. For a casual breakfast joint the dining room is pleasant (lots of space, clean, vibrant colours) and the quality of the food, though never stellar, is good and consistent, with pretty average prices for this sort of establishment.

Service is friendly and efficient, with some servers being more cheerful than others, but it's no big deal.

My go-to is the Classique des classiques crêpe, especially in the summer when most fruits are of better quality, but otherwise I usually go for the breakfast poutines, which are solid. I recommend the Printemps érable or Mon beau gros mariage Grec. Big portion also! Besides that I can't say I've explored the menu all that much, though I do know that their roast potatoes are awesome, especially when topped with the Emilia piri piri sauce they carry. 🤤

All in all, I have to give props to l'Oeufrier for being one of the last good casual restaurant chains left in the province. Hopefully it stays this way!

Didn't expect such a unique menu from this brunch place! I thought it would be like Cora's, but they definitely have some very different items. I got the beef eggs Benedict which was super yummy, and you can get it with a mix of roast AND mashed potatoes. Can I tell you I was in heaven, bc the potatoes were so good. The plate was really big tho, and I personally only finished the bennies and fruit, so be prepared to take home leftovers. Our server was also very kind to us knowing we didn't speak French.

We also waited about 10 minutes for our table, at around 12pm on a Sunday, as there were 2 parties ahead of us. The decor here is also so cute. It kind of reminds...

My friends and I had a great experience here and the food was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend coming here for breakfast and enjoying the abundance of choices that are present! The staff were very kind to us even though we didn’t speak much French at all.

I got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, my friends got the pancakes topped with strawberry, and eggs Benedict with mushrooms and all of us throughly enjoyed our food. It was so good that we didn’t speak to one another the entire time we were there because we were busy...
