KFC — Restaurant in Lower Sackville

Overall, I can't fault the food. We haven't eaten at a KFC in years but I randomly had a craving for a popcorn chicken bowl. So I stopped in on my way home from work to pick it up. A few things stood out - like other reviewers have said, the place isn't overly clean which is important all the time but even more so these days. The menu items we wanted weren't on the menu, but comparable items were for nearly twice the price. I asked the cashier if they still had the items we wanted and she said yes - they just weren't on the board.

I ordered our food, which came to $12 for the two of us because I asked about the dishes we wanted. Had I not asked and ordered from the menu, it would have been nearly $25. Seems a bit sneaky to me. Also, after paying and waiting, it turns out they didn't have the spicy popcorn chicken (which she said they did) so I found three packets of hot sauce in the bag.

As I said before, I can't fault the food. It was quick and really delicious and plenty of food for two people. They were also kind enough to put my popcorn chicken on the side so it wasn't soggy by the time I got home.

KFC Dill pickle menu So I saw an advertisement for pickle chips, but it was US only.....but now they are here! I decided to give it a go and noticed there's a whole pickle menu. I upgraded the fries to the loaded pickle fries, I forgot to take a pic before I dug in. They were ok, but really, not enough sauce so I wouldn't order again. The pickle chips, again, I dug in before the picture. You get an ok amount. I'm pretty sure these were what I could smell before even getting into the bag. Very pickley. They were again, ok. They were no longer hot when I got the chance to try them. So probably would have tasted better warm. For the pickle burger, it seemed to be the same as the famous burger, but with crispy pickles as well as the regular pickles and the pickle seasoning. It also comes as spicy. The burger was good, but after eating the chips, I could barely tell if there was dill seasoning on the burger. Lol. I probably would give this a try again if stays on the menu. I opted not to try the pickle Pepsi 😬 Also they forgot...

Disgusting customer service. After placing my order and waiting for 10 minutes, got home and realized the order was wrong after it was confirmed 3 times! Called and advised them and they made it seem like it was my problem and if course no apology. Then asked me to hold and put the manager on who proceeded to tell me that my order is nothing they ever accommodate when I have been placing the same order at this location for years! I told him that and he virtually called me a liar. I had to tell them I will bring it back as it was not what I ordered Took the order back and no apology for the inconvenience of having to drive all the way back there in the rain or for the atrocious customer service.
