Me-n-Ed's Pizza Parlors — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

If I could give minus stars I would. ! We decided to try the new me and Ed's. We ordered a pizza me and Ed's combo large pizza. First of all....$36 for a large...better be good. Hubby picked it up . Open the box...where's the cheese??? Guess cheese goes UNDER the toppings...still seemed like no cheese. Crust harder than the box , bottom of crust breaking when you take a bite. No flavour. . Box probably had more flavour. Hubby phoned and spoke to a manager who did offer to remake and deliver at no charge. We decided credit instead. So...pizza didn't settle well in stomach. The seagulls loved the large pizza. So following week we decide to use our credit and ordered the gangster. I had to LITERALLY explain to the girl on phone to put tomatoes sauce topping and then cheese. Had to repeat myself several times as she wrote it down !!!! Get our pizza....DISGUSTING. just as gross and hard as first time. NO cheese. We both felt ill after eating 1 piece each. Again...seagulls loved that large gross pizza. Worst ever ! store bought is better for $10. Don't waste your money on cardboard. Get your pizza elsewhere...and for...

Ordered takeout online, a little expensive I thought, but knew it was a must try in this area. Showed up to pick it up and was pointed over to the takeout counter, it wasn't quite ready but that was no big deal to me, while waiting for the food they offered me a free fountain drink which was really nice, everyone was super friendly. After being helped, I was asked by two additional staff if I had been helped yet, they just seemed to genuinely want to make sure I wasn't being ignored. Honestly don't think I have ever gotten such great service while just picking up takeout. It was ready pretty quickly after, and I was on my way! Pizza was really really good, they have some unique signature pizzas and they are worth the try! I tried a Spicy Tuscan and a Big Dill and both where hits. Got a free garlic bread I wan't expecting either which must be a takeout bonus thing or something. Overall super good experience, would love to go there for a sit down proper dinner one day with such great service on just takeout I can imagine their in house service is...

This past Saturday we were craving Me-n-Ed's Pizza. When we walked in we realized that there was team recognition dinner of sorts for some little hockey players and their parents. We were told that this group would be leaving within the hour but another one was coming, but our hunger over took our need for a quiet dinner and we were seated. Looked and sounded like organized confusion but what amazed us most is how our server kept her cool and calmness as though it was quiet Saturday night. Honestly, we loved the energy. Didn't see a cell phone out gaming, everyone talking (sounded like at the same time-lol) and just having a good time in spite of all that is taking place world over. Our pizza arrived we ate, watched and listened to speeches then if Me-n-Ed's didn't insist on cutting our bill in half because of us having to 'tolerate the noise.'
